It's been a busy week for a different reason other than work! It's election week here in the UK, we get to vote and find out which set of shit stains will run the country into the ground for the next 5 years. Woohoo.
On a more serious note there's the reason last week was so sparse. I can't go into too much detail for legal reasons and because it is quite upsetting/personal but we (my family) are taking some action in relation to things that happened at the hospital when my Mom passed away which were... Let's say, unacceptable. It's taken a while to get things moved up the chain but it was finally time to see people and that's why I had so little time.
Anyway. Explaination done. I've been working on a version of Lara. This one is based on the Rise of the Tomb Raider version.

Just a little test render to see how things are looking. I've been working on a workflow with Diffeo to quickly generate curves style hair, I think it's looking pretty nice. I need to work out a nice way to work with it so that it can be animated but also moved without losing the original position.
I think I want to do some sort of nice photoshoot style render with Lara. Not sure exactly what yet but should be out on Sunday.
I also wanted to have her original Tomb Raider outfit but it is quite low resolution and not as detailed as I'd like for my style of renders. I have set up the materials they have and they will be available in the model when I get her up in the model archive hopefully on Monday (along with Blends).
Anyway. That's how things are looking. Thank you, as always, if you can stick with me. If you are here for the renders I hope to have something new on Sunday. If you are here for models and Blends then the first version of Lara and the blends should be up sometime Monday.
