I think some fans forget that reactors have real reactions where they might say things that the rest of us know more about and have thought about for a long time so we are more chill and knowledgeable and sometimes people get mad at things reactors might say in the moment. I thought you guys had great initial comments but also explained your thought process well. Also, when you called Silco 'Sylas' I laughed lol. Sylas is an AMAZING league of legends character and if they ever expand the arcana universe to highlight Demacia (which i dunno if they will...) Sylas's and Lux's stories would be incredible!

While everything about this episode (and Arcane) is a masterpiece I would like to point out the amazing job Mia Sinclair Jenness did as the voice actress of Powder. I think she was 12 when she recorded this episode. Her screams and sobs still haunt me ngl. even though I watched it easily a hundred times. And you two are amazing as well. Have watched countless reactions but you are clearly top shelf when it comes to predictions. Outstanding and really great entertainment. Can't wait for more.๐

Thank you for your thoughtfulness in writing these out ;) I never considered Powder falling in a sortof 0-G fashion the same as the guys did, but it makes sense, especially given how they purposefully paralleled these two events. I just know the cannery was near docks and assumed she hit the water (even though her clothes didn't seem wet). I cannot keep quiet just how telling the microexpressions in this show can be. It's amazing the amount of detail put into the facial animations! I know at least for me so many emotions were conveyed through a close up. I'm so excited to journey with M&D on the rest of this season!

Your faces showed the exact same emotions I felt when I watched this episode. ๐ ๐ญ๐ Congratulations, you made it, your rollercoaster just hit the first steep drop (and man that episode still breaks me ๐ญ). And you know what happens when a rollercoaster goes down - it goes fullspeed into the first loop, so yeah, this show will not slow down till the end, on the contrary, it will get more and more intense. ๐ฑ๐คฉ My reaction to your (great) reaction: - Vi giving herself up: When the enforcers arrived, they where expecting to arrest a girl, because the message for Grayson came from Vi herself (And remember, they were looking for four kids all along). When Grayson said "I'm guessing that's for me", she meant the screaming and locked away Vi. That is why she looked so startled when Vander stopped Marcus and gave himself up. They all heard Vi screaming and pounding at the door, but Vander insisted so they took him instead of her. ๐ค๐ - Jayce knew what to do with the blue crystals because he remembered the moves the mage made by heart and recreated them. His problem was always to stabilize the crystals and Viktor solved that problem. ๐ - The chances of the group to escape weren't that bad, they already had been breaking through the wall, Vander was off his chains and the door still held. - Yes, it was the same explosion shown from different angles, because so much happend at the same time. - Purple Deckard survived the explosion because of his drug. It made him freakishly strong and fast and his mutated body resisted the shockwave, but it blew him all over to the far end of the bridge. Everyone else outside was further afar from the explosion, but was still knocked out or injured. The group unfortunately was trapped in a small room in a fragile building where the explosion would have a much more devastating effect than in the big hall outside. - Powder was caught (at least that is what I get from what we saw) in a zero-g field that the explosion of the crystals created, much like Jayce and Viktor. She was shocked at first, but then you could see her expression switch to wonder and excitement, because she was not falling down and everything shone bright blue and sparkled. My guess is she floated slowly to the ground. That is why she was so giddy and happy when she came around the corner. Something she built finally worked and she could help her family, only to learn that she made everything so much worse. ๐ญ๐ - Vi on the other hand had to witness the death of beloved people again, only hours after she saw Benzo (and the Enforcers) die, so I can't blame her for her reaction towards Powder. But of course your right. The slap was nothing against those angry words Vi threw in Powders face. She confirmed all of Powders fears and doubts and insecurities and yes - pushed her over the edge. But again, she was traumatized too, it was all too much in that moment, she literally just rose from Vanders dead body. Vi simply broke in her own way and lashed out against her little sister. But then she did the right thing by getting a little distance to calm down and then take care of Powder, unfortunately Marcus thought it was a good idea to chloroform and kidnap her. By the way, do you really think Vi would work for someone who tore her violently away from her sister? ๐ค - If you look closely at Silco (again the wonderful details!๐คฉ) when he hears Powder saying that Vi's not her sister anymore, you can see a look of understading in his eyes. He immediately drew the parallel to Vander and himself and in that moment he was probably the only person in the world who could understand exactly how this little girl was feeling. And that is why he took her in instead of killing her. Powder threw herself at him because she didn't know who he was and he was the only person caring for her in that moment (from her POV). ๐จ - We get several clues to the past of Silco and Vander. Vander obvioulsy was not always the peaceful leader we meet at the beginning of the story. He lead an uprising where we see him beating the sh** out of an enforcer, probably killing him, and his old companions remember him being far more aggressive. So I would guess Silco wanted to continue on that path no matter what price they would have to pay. Vander on the other side was confronted with the consequences of his actions and swore off of all violence. ๐ค - As you can see, I - like you - could talk about this show all day. ๐ If I could, I would give it a 12/10 on IMDB. It is closer to perfection than anything else I've ever seen, animated or not. ๐๐ As always, can't wait for the next one, till then... ๐๐ปโโ๏ธ๐

Really it seems like he's planning to kill her at first, then he realizes that he relates to her on a deep level. They both feel abandoned by siblings, albeit for Silco a brother in arms. its a bit hypocritical of him since he's like the sole reason for their fallout but even so, he sees Powder as a kindred spirit now who he knows exactly how she must feel.
