I like how you point out how hard it must have been for Aang to try and raise a family on top of being the Avatar (plus the sole survivor of an entire culture). Personally, I believe Aang was a good father. He wasn't perfect, he had flaws, but that doesn't make him a bad parent. And I really appreciate how the writers show that in the scenes with Tenzin and his siblings.

2024-04-25 05:20:56 +0000 UTCAnother thing that mightโve played into Aangโs preferential treatment is that, before Tenzin was born, Aang hadnโt had anyone he could practice airbending with since he was frozen. Iโm sure it was exciting for him to experience that again, not that that excuses his shortcomings with Kya and Bumi.
