Arcane 1x9 "The Monster You Created" | Reaction & Review (UNCUT)

Comments

Man, catching up on this now feels like the Warwick spoiler was not something that should've been said to you guys at the time. Still if you wanted to know it's fine

Touya

Ahh no worries, it happens! Certainly not the worst spoiler I've ever stumbled across. I do avoid teasers and even trailers between seasons and such (only ever watch a trailer if I don't know if I'm going to be into a show yet) so yeah maybe I'm just under a rock haha. Anyway thanks for the work you put into pulling everything together for the reaction Dear Editor :)

TeddyBearBonfire

Daw - Editor here, I hate that this happened, I'm so sorry!!!! There has just been too much about Vander/Warwick since the Jan 5th teaser that I figured to get them ahead of things. We will be diving further into League stuff in the upcoming weeks, starting out with the things they've done in the past for the Arcane series and characters and then expanding out further to the world, Runeterra, at large. I'd like to reassure you that there's very little in terms of actual spoilers going into S2 besides the background on Warwick, and even that has the potential to change for S2 - lore in League has pretty much been retconned and changed multiple times over the past decade when many of these cinematics were made so it's very hard for even a lorehead like myself to guess at what's actually going to happen. Warwick will definitely be in S2, but to what capacity, none of us have a clue - we just have to wait til the season drops in Nov. Riot has given its fans probably the best narrative and production any gaming studio has put out in terms of cinematics/promo material so I hope you might consider watching the League dives along with M&D! Again, not really many things you can consider spoilers for Arcane S2 in them, but they're a feast for the eyes and ears! Anyway, have a good one, and sorry again!

Rabbid Dawg

Hi there! Thank you for the thoughtful message and feedback here. We completely understand what you mean here and will make sure in the future to give some *audio* hints prior to any pre-spoiler stuff! We don't like spoilers either so we don't want that experience for y'all either! Thanks again for watching along with us and for your support โค๏ธ -M&D

Absolutely loved your reactions, you guys are so attentive as well as being emotionally investedโ€”and it's unfortunately a bit uncommon for reactors to be both. Definitely looking forward to watching other shows with you down the line. One thing, I would recommend when doing the edited version for youtube for this episode, that the editor adds a blatant spoiler warning (I tend to listen to the end discussions without watching the screen, so something audible would be good for folk like me) before the Vander trivia at the end. As someone who doesn't follow League lore outside of Arcane, I'd have never had a clue about that, and honestly, that's the way I wish I could've kept it. I had no idea such a heavy detail was about to be revealed (even if it's officially unconfirmed). Now, I won't be surprised if that's how it goes down, and I'm kinda sad about that. So yeah, for the sake of non-Lore-fiends, please do let them know a potential big spoiler is oncoming :P

TeddyBearBonfire

I'm stupid, I read everything but the bold in the description.

DoubleAA

Read description under this video :)

marko knaus

There's a 5 part documentary on the production of arcane called "Arcane: Bridging the Rift" on Youtube that you can watch and it goes over animation, music, art, sound design and much more about how arcane was pitched and be made and its production trouble that could have ended this series.

DoubleAA

I canโ€™t wait! Itโ€™s seriously such a good documentary

Zane

Posted on our youtube :) More Arcane/LoL coming soon too!

Meesh and Dee

We will look into this!

Meesh and Dee

Coming soon :)

Meesh and Dee

We are so intrigued with this world! We will def check it out :)

Meesh and Dee

Absolutely loved your reaction series to Arcane!! Would you all be open to watching the League of Legends World Championship opening ceremony from 2019 and 2023? Iโ€™d say those two are the best to watch but they really display the peak level of Riot and seems like it would be up your alley!

SecretNerdChick

When you mentions Seconds, is it Ekko's Seconds, Champion Trailer?

Rabbid Dawg

Reactions to Enemy, Seconds, and Get Jineded when? three music videos that are based on the game/show. Would love to see it :)

TheDongofLife

To think Summoner's Rift has low-poly and outdated models, whereas the mobile game made leaps and bounds on the technical side! I just don't have enough time anymore to play more than a game or two of League in my free time, so I load of up on Wild Rift games instead (I still play SR, but very rarely). Currently Emerald near Diamond, trying to reach Masters - which is alot easier on WR for sure. I was only ever peak gold on SR, but that was waaaay back when we still had to pay for runes and masteries.

Rabbid Dawg

I only started playing in s12! I am currently learning Katarina and am on the struggle bus lol. I find her laning phase so hard and I mess up her combo engages so often lol . But I bought the Battle Queen skin and I intend to learn her damnit. And I also main Eve in the jg hehe. Tho they nerfed her recently which made me not want to use her right now. I have not played WR but I'm jealous at its character models and exclusive skins T___T

Edo

I think its better to jump in Arcane with no prior knowledge. I mean i know LoL lore really good, but it was still super interesting to watch, it didnt take away any excitement or anything. So now, for season 2, we are all on the same boat. Most of the things that we know from lore has been revealed, and we all go in season 2 blindly, so i am super excited. I mean maybe they didnt reveal Viktor much, so you still have to be surprized by that :)

marko knaus

*Quietly simping over Caitlyn, Evelynn and Morgana.* ;) You can't expect people to act right when you have badass splash art matched with awesome lore stories. And then Caitlyn has the Cop Skin. I rest my case, your honor. Akali and Ahri for sure though! They're hella popular in the fandom. I really like the redesign they did of these characters years ago too. I mained the Donger in S1 and S2. He was the og big boss Club Owner. When you set those turrets up just right, hnnng, no one could get past you. I want him to come to Wild Rift already.

Rabbid Dawg

I loved the outro where the trivia was shared with you guys!! And yes Vander as this "unnamed" wolf champ was a huge surprise and fun to discover for league players. Also, Heimerdinger is WAY more annoying than Singed imo. You can't jump on a Heimerdinger without getting 30 turret shots and his stun and his rocket projectile 100 to 0'ing you in 3 seconds lol. I really hope you guys react to some of the MVs such as 'warriors', 'awaken', 'the call' and 'still here' as there is so much more to League than just Piltover and Zaun. I feel like you guys would really fuck with Ionia (one of the other regions). Akali and Ahri are huge simp waifu material (not for me I'm gay lol. Sett has my heart).

Edo

It was a pleasure to watch this for the first time with you two. Canโ€™t wait for the next season! ๐Ÿ˜

Nicky

There's been a few Season 2 trailers released so far - one right after season 1 finale came out with 3 voicelines from 3 different characters in season 2 - one that teases Warwick/Vander in Singed' laboratory - one that continues the endless narrative of the bridge between Piltover and Zaun being by far the most pivotal location in this show

Mathies

So What most people dont seem to notice, is when Jinx says "silco didnt make Jinx, you did", is that in Jinx's eyes, that's a POSITIVE thing. She's not mad that she's jinx, her jinx persona is a coping mechanism to deal with her trauma. Not the most healthy one, but a coping mechanism nontheless. She says that all these years, Vi's words of encouragements, saying that you're stronger than you think, you're worth your value just the way that you are, she's translated those words in a way that Vi hadn't meant (causing hurt in others around her), and those words have kept her alive. Have kept Jinx, from killing herself because she wouldve felt worthless, no matter how much Silcowas there to comfort her, she wouldnt have gotten through it without Vi's voice in the back of her mind. THAT is what she means when she says "you made jinx". she means you kept me going. You kept me alive. You saved me

Mathies

I disagree that Vi's causing too much damage. She laid it out perfectly in her talk with jayce - it's not like allowing Silco to keep on doing his thing is beneficial for these kids. They're child laborers in a drug factory! The death of the kid is devastating, but not much worse than his previous situation

Mathies

Caitlyn also had the impossible choice of killing your love interest's sister, doing arguably the morally right thing preventing lots of suffering in the city at the hand of jinx, but making a potential enemy out of Vi and really hurting her in the process! She decides that Jinx is so important to Vi's wellbeing, no matter what she's become like, she cant do that to Vi, she cant shoot her sister

Mathies

There's a champion in LoL that's a lady chembaron, who actually aims to negotiate more than fight Topside - it isn't Sevika, but I can never quite shake the idea that they could change a couple details around so that it is. There's the added bonus that she's also missing an arm, just like Sevika, but for the chembaron, it's due to an injury she sustained as a child trying to save her now dead parents. I know I'd like an excuse to learn more about Sevika in s2 too! She was close to both elements of power in the Undercity so I could see her as a key player next season. Imo she was someone also willing to do anything for the cause and believing in a leader firmly dedicated to it - Vander seemingly lost his conviction in what he originally stood for, where Silco would double down in his. Silco learned he needed to do anything to achieve his goals after all. That said, it's beautifully done how they show Sevika immediately having issues with Jinx when we get reintroduced to them in ep. 4, the reason for Silco's eventual downfall and his loss of focus on his original goals. Maybe I give the show too much credit and read into that more than it is, but I believe we're supposed to feel an unease between Sevika and Jinx beyond the competition between one of them being Silco's No. 2 - thematically, imo, they represent two halves of Silco.

Rabbid Dawg

;)

Rabbid Dawg

So, as someone once said, let's start at the beginning - Thoughts and observations: - All these (impossible) choices the characters had to face in this episode: Vi - Kill Caitlyn or you won't get Powder back. Silco - Protect Jinx or give her up and get the nation of Zaun. Viktor - Die or stay alive, but lose your soul. Mel Medarda - Let a war unfold and return to your family with a new weapon technology or stay loyal to Piltover (and Jayce) and try to save the cities. Jinx - Be Powder or be Jinx. Jayce - Negotiate peace with Silco or start a war and be responsible for everything that arises from the decision, including the deaths of lots of innocent people on both sides. - Viktor claimed that there is always a choice and technically he is right, but this episode showed that if the consequences of the given choices are too severe, than there is no real choice: -- Vi would never ever kill Caitlyn and even if she did, she never would have gotten Powder back. -- Silco likewise would never ever give Jinx up, the only thing he was always true about was his paternal love of Jinx. -- Jinx had locked what was left of Powder deep inside her. Even though she decided to embrace Jinx, there has never been a way for her to be Powder again. ๐Ÿ˜ญ -- Viktor lost his will to fight for his life the moment he saw the prize others had to pay for it. -- Mel never forgot how her mother treated her and was hugely disappointed when she only reached out to benefit from her daughters success, not to mention Mels feelings for Jayce. -- Jayce saw first hand several times the costs of war and finally realised that would not be an option. - Viktor finally finding out about Skys feelings broke my heart. ๐Ÿ’”๐Ÿ˜จ Once again the attention to details. When he holds her glasses, you can see her friendly smiling face behind them for a split second. The sound design, you always hear the metallic *tock*, *tock* when his artificial leg or hand touches the floor. And he proved his theory, that hextech evolves. Not only merged the hextech with his body, the hexcore also has some kind of remote connection to him. I wonder if he will loose himself in this new creature in the next season and become a new kind of human being. That is, if he survives at all. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™ˆ - When Viktor asked Jayce to destroy "it", Jayce looks at his hammer and nods - while Viktor was talking about the Hexcore. For the first time, seeing it's negative aspects, they get a feeling why Heimerdinger was so adamant about leaving the Arcane alone. Viktor by losing Sky and turning into some kind of hextech-human mixture, Jayce by seeing what harm an army with hextech weapons could cause to the people of the undercity. - The extreme relief on Silcos face! He wasn't sure whose side Sevika would take at all. Thats why he appealed to her. He may have looked at Finn, but his words about loyalty were clearly meant for Sevika. Her decision pro Silco was not that big surprise though. As Finn said, there are bigger fishes out there, but it was pretty clear he wasn't one of them. She told Silco as much when she said: "Not for a worm like him, but there will be others." She puts pressure on him to finally do what he promised or she will be gone. ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿ˜„ - The sunset behind Jayce and Silco negotiating was just beautiful and symbolic at the same time: The sun goes down on both leaders and the cities they reign as we knew them. First it seems that Silco has the upper hand and maintaines an aura of superiority, but you see his eye slide when Jayce mentions Jinx. From this moment on, the dominance changes to Jayce and when Jayce said: "Get me Jinx and I give you your nation of Zaun", I couldn't help but thinking that just like that, he checkmated Silco. No matter what Silco will do now, he will lose. - The only positive thing happening in this episode is Heimerdingers arrival at the home of the firelights. Getting kicked out of the council was the best thing that ever happened to Heimerdinger, not least because it saved his life. Him and Ekko as a duo like Victor and Jayce actually have the potential to change the world for the better. ๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿ˜Š - Silcos monologue at Vanders statue is one of the strongest moments of the entire show. Finally he understood Vander and made peace with him. Oh the pain of Jinx hearing those words from her father, you can see it in her shimmer eyes. ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ - In the shot where the Vander statue is seen in full size and Silco sits in front of it, you can see a bit of Jinx' head behind Vanders shoulder, before it is revealed that she is there. It even moves slightly. In the close up, when Silco poors a drink for Vander, you can see that someone scratched Ekkos name into the base of the statue (my guess is, it was the young Ekko himself). I can not get over the perfect storytelling, the attention to tiny little details, it is so beautiful. ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜ - The second clash between Vi and Sevika was the definition of a cool fight. ๐Ÿคฏ๐Ÿ˜ฑ๐Ÿ˜Ž It felt less "realistic" than their first brawl, but it was so spectacular. The way they directed it in a western-saloon-shootout-style gave me goosebumps and made my adrenaline go through the roof. The way Vis "inner" Vander got her back on her feet...โœจ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ - The final scene of their fight mirrors the scene from the third episode, where Vi attacks the mutated Deckard from above with a big jump, only to get caught in his hand and get nearly choked to death. This time it is Sevika with the big jump from above who gets caught in the hextech shield of Vi and nearly dies. So if you ever get in a fight like this, avoid those big jumps at all costs...๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿคฃ - The final confrontation of the sisters went so different from what I expected and it was so so heartbreaking. ๐Ÿ’”๐Ÿ˜ญ -- Once again - details: The little music box with the sparklers is the "real Valdiani" Powder stole from Jayce in episode one. ๐Ÿ˜ -- Jinx is wrong and right at the same time. Despite what she believes, Vi - and I can't emphasize this enough - did NOT make Jinx, Powder made Jinx. Jinx was born that fateful day when two little girls went on a battlefield to look for their parents, she was just kept at bay as long as there was someone there for Powder who loved and protected her. Mylo gave her her name and Vi layed the ground for Jinx to grow, by reacting the wrong way in a key moment. Don't get me wrong, I don't blame Vi for reacting the way she did at that moment at all, it just had awful consequences. That and her "inner" Vi that helped Jinx to survive, lead her to the conclusion that Vi created her. ๐Ÿ˜จ๐Ÿ˜ญ And of course it is always easier to lay all the blame on someone else...๐Ÿ™ˆ -- The moment I still can't talk about without my pulse rising dramatically. When Jinx came back with the platter I was convinced that Caitlyns head would be on it. -- Details: Take your time and look at the decoration on the table for every "guest", you see so many hints and nods to the characters, it's worth to freeze the screen for a moment or two. For example Vanders place - The chair he was bound to by Silco in episode three, his gauntlets, his pipe, the picture of Vander and the kids you saw hanging in the basement of the "Last Drop" in the first three episodes. Only now with the glass smashed, as if Jinx broke with Powders past. ๐Ÿ˜จ Jinx brought Vis gauntlets with her and painted them blue and purple, like her fingernails. For a split second we see Caitlyn like Vi memorized her, lying with her on the bed. -- Did you notice, Jinx said: "I paid your GIRLFRIEND a visit this morning". The only time anyone ever called Caitlyn that. -- How both Silco and Vi pull on Jinx/Powder to get her on on their side. The one time I was on Silcos side is when he desperately tries to stop Vi from torturing her sister by calling the names of her past. Vi can't know, but she triggers trauma after trauma and it tortures Jinx so much. For Vi these names are mostly connected with positive memories, but for Jinx it is just painful. Thats why he tries to shoot Vi, because he sees the pain it causes Jinx. It had the desired effect though, it prevented Jinx from killing Caitlyn. ๐Ÿ˜ฑ๐Ÿ˜ญ -- After killing Silco, you can see the exact moment where Jinx chooses to embrace Jinx and let Powder go. You can see the lights go out in her eyes and hear the voices in her head vanish. Not only did she kill her second (and most important) fatherfigure, it was also because of her shooting at the Mylo mannequin, that the glass broke and got in reach of Caitlyn and gave her the opportunity to free herself and let the situation escalate. She fully believes now, that she actually is... a jinx. ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜จ๐Ÿ™ˆ The Shimmer made Jinx freakishly fast and strong (just look how easy she wore the destroyed gauntlet, that tore even Vi to the ground ๐Ÿ˜ฑ) though, Caitlyn didn't stand a chance. -- The shimmer tear and the cry of anguish and hate, when she launched the rocket... ๐Ÿคฏ - Singed looks at a picture in a locket, that looks like the portrait of a blonde woman. Maybe the daughter he mentioned in the last episode? - The agreement of the council to accept the negotiated conditions is too little, too late. Still it was a breakthrough for them, for once they didn't only decide for their own good. - They got !Sting! to sing the final song and he did a marvelous job, like every singer on the soundtrack. Freaking legen- - wait for it - -dary Sting! Goosebumps, goosebumps all over! ๐Ÿคฏ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ’–โœจ๐Ÿ‘Œ So, one last big thank you for your great reactions to this wonderful show, I'm looking forward to your other reactions around "Arcane" and what else you have in store for us...๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ™‹๐Ÿปโ€โ™‚๏ธ

Plzzz do Castlevania!

Hollywood

Oh wow. This finale still gets me. ๐Ÿ˜ฑ๐Ÿคฏ๐Ÿ˜จ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ™ˆ๐Ÿ’” When I watched it for the first time and realized that Caitlyn's head isn't at the platter, I had to stop watching for two full minutes, to get my heart rate back under 100 bpm. As an avid fan of well told stories (in all kinds of media), I can't remember anything so close to perfection. They really cranked it up to eleven. ๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿ˜ I will make several comments, as it would get too long in one piece...๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ™ˆ Mel Medarda: At the time you said it, you were right about Mel. She used Jayce, and that was her only intention for a long time. There were no "true intentions" from the get go. They evolved and changed, when she developed feelings for Jayce, remembered her ideals and why she was banished from her family in the first place. ๐Ÿ™‚ And not only in this show, but in real life too, you should not judge people when you don't know all the facts. Silco: He was probably the most fascinating villain I ever saw. But sorry, still don't feel for him. He lived violently and died violently. I do believe that he loved Jinx with all his heart, she was probably the only one he ever loved. I'm feeling very sorry for Jinx though. Being responsible for the killing of her father (figure) for the second time...๐Ÿ˜จ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ™ˆ We always hear Silco talking about making things better for the Undercity and I am shure he started out in his younger days with this goal, alongside Vander (and probably others), but he lost track of it a long time ago. Everything he claimed was only for the benefit of him and his small upper class of Chem Barons. He did what he advertised in ep. 1, he took power with absolutely every means he could get. That included killing, lying, deceiving, flooding the streets with drugs to control the people, let minors work in his factories, etc., etc. No, the only ones actually doing something to make things better for the people of the Undercity were the Firelights and (to a minor degree) Victor in his early days. ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿ™‚ VI and Caitlyn: Total opposite to Meesh (hope I got the right one๐Ÿ˜…) - I like Caitlyn more, especially since Vis behaviour in the last two episodes. ๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ™ˆ Yes Vi is hot and has a big big heart for the people she cares for, but only for them. She is way too impulsive and careless for my liking. Her desire to protect the people she loves does almost as much damage as it does good. Protect at all costs with her means at ALL costs. Caitlyn, also hot and also a very big heart, has this big heart for everyone. She tries to see the big picture and how to make things better for all. I only wish she could have known Jinx as we did, then she would have reacted very differently several times, but how could she? Her frame of reference were Jinx' crimes and Vis stories (and they were old and she probably didn't tell much about her in total.) My favorite characters: Caitlyn (see above), Ekko, Vi - in terms of liking. Jinx, Caitlyn, Silco, Sevika - in terms of writing (being interesting, fascinating). Your editor: We crossed paths several times and let me say, that shout out is well deserved. ๐Ÿ˜Š

silverarrow06

I had heard that there was a champion that Vander could potentially be, because people have pointed out that you can see a body that looks like him at the end of this episode. During the Sting song when it cuts to Singed in his lab, thereโ€™s a wide shot that shows the silhouette of a large arm that kind of looks like claws in place of fingers. Another reactor I watch pointed it out and guessed that it was Vander, and they donโ€™t play LoL or anything. I only looked into the champion like a week ago, but there are some cool YouTube videos out there that compiled hints about Vander being Warwick (the werewolf that your editor showed the picture of). Those might be cool to do a reaction video on!

Jenny D

I'm right there with everything about Sevika, I too like her...๐Ÿ˜Š

silverarrow06

Shout out to your editor, the triva has been really fun. Now that we are at the end Ill share some of my fave details from the show. I like how the show flips some traits which are traditionally feminine and masculine in film. Like Caits parents, its the mom thats the protective one shes the one who breaks down the door with a gun while its the dad who runs in and hugs Cait. Also Silco wearing make up and Vi and many of the female characters being very physically strong. I found it really refreshing. There is a cool detail in ep 5 where right after Jace and Viktor are talking about his death in the hospital it cuts to Sevika throwing her cards on the table and the cards are Death and the Magician which kind of looks like Viktor. We also saw a similar card in Ep 4 on Caits map which looked like Silco called the "truth" There was some lore drops in League of Legends regarding Vi's time in prison. Basically she was a menace. The lore drop is called the council archives I think its posted on reddit idk if it has general spoilers tho so maybe ask the editor first. in the fight between Vi and Sevika in ep5 you can see Vi bait sevika into an enclsoed space. Vi has spent the last 10 years fighting in prison cells so she knows how to fight in small spaces, Sevika not so much. And its when they get in that enclosed space that Vi really gets the upper hand in the fight. throughout the season its been stated multiple times Vi isnt good at keeping her guard up. Echo says it when he says she still blocks with her face, Vandor says it when shes on the ground, Sevika says "I see you never learned patience". You can also just see it in the fight scenes. Vis biggest weakness in a fight is she goes all in and doesnt really block. But in the last fight with Sevika its when she finally DOES block that the shield built into the gloves works and saves her. This isnt really a detail but on first watch I didnt like Sevika but after rewatching now I really really like her. She adapts, which IMO is something many of the characters struggle to do.. Sevika wants change and is willing to change herself in the process of achieving that. She is also loyal. People hate on her for leaving Vander but I assume she joined Vander in his freedom fighting days on the bridge and like he tells Silco "I'm not that man anymore" so why should she really follow him at that point? She tells him upfront shes not on his side. So she joins Silco and then she risks her life to save Silco in Ep 3. She loses her arm so she adapts and makes herself a new one., Then when Cait breaks the arm she doesnt just replace it she completely redesigns it to make it better. She adds a sword and she puts the shimmer in a more protected spot since Cait was able to shoot it last time. I am lowkey hoping its Sevika that picks up the reigns of running the undercity in the next season now that Silco is gone. Because I think unlike Silco she isnt hung up on the past, she is able to adapt. Im also really interested in the Sevika & Vii dynamic going in season 2 because they seem to have a mutual respect. Vi seems to seek her out for a fight when she's working through her emotions and Sevika seems to enjoy fighting her. IDk. Sevika DID try to kill her but I could see them working together against a bigger threat perhaps.

Battlebug

Meesh, I like your take on Silco at the endโ€ฆI havenโ€™t heard anyone look at it like that. I initially thought he was shooting at Vi out of hate and spite, but I love how you look at it like he did it because Vi didnโ€™t understand that she was triggering Jinx. Also, Iโ€™d like to point out that they actually tell us how it all ends in Episode 6 when Jinx strung Sevika up from the ceiling. Silcoโ€™s eyes follow Jinxโ€™s blue crayon line over a map of the Zaun and Piltover, and I am willing to bet that the arrow that points up at Sevika actually ends at the Council chambers on the map.

Boredmarinerd

About the beat comment I gave read under an Arcane reaction: Arcane is a definition of "We are all the villain in someone else's story" ๐Ÿ’”๐Ÿงก

MasterOfPuppets

And so Vi (unintentionally) ultimatively broke her promise to Powder to protect her from the monsters..She actually released them at her! And still... How could she know? Generally speaking: who do you wanna blame in this show? Everyone had his part in this outcome, but we know and understand their motivations. Even Silco (who is one of the best "villains" I have ever seen btw) was somewhat relatable. Yes he was toxic and manipulative for Jinx, but he was there for her and encouraged her in her skills. And in his weird way he loved her for sure. And that is the main problem here I think. Silco loves Jinx and Vi loves...Powder! If Vi could have loved Jinx as well this could have had a better outcome. And assuming that Caits mom really dies, the triangle between Cait, Vi and Jinx will have even a lot more drama for us... I really love every character in this show sooo much. ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿงก๐Ÿ’” Thank you for these amazing reactions. This channel is pure gold! Can't wait for more League content aand Bridging the Rift. And Rabbiddawg: you are a legend! Simpy the best for this job!๐Ÿ’ช

MasterOfPuppets

Such an amazing episode, and great reaction! I've been waiting years for season 2, it's close now. Season 1 took them 6 years and like $100M to make, luckily season 2 didn't take as long. Can't wait to see your reactions to Bridging the Rift and other League of Legends videos

AdmiralZhou

Bravo! Loved watching this with you, though am sad that the season is already done! Looking forward to S2, but until then Im excited to keep watching Korra together. And youre right. I think a strength of this show is that each character's perspective is thought through a realistic. Though you may disagree with certain actions at any time, their motivation for engaging in such behaviour is understandable. I always get so sad for Silco at the end - I love a good 'bad' guy. He wanted a better life for his people and was ruthless in trying to achieve that.

Shane

i recommend this as well its great for realizing how much work went into this show

MrGuy3000

Why?... Why does it always drop right at bedtime? ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜‚ Now I have to sleep at least six hours till I can watch it with you...๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ™ˆ

Dang! I was secretly trying to guess which image you'd use for the thumbnail. I was off. I loved doing the trivia with you guys, it was great to see yall logic through it. So many good guesses and predictions, this series was an amazing rewatch with yall! Looking forward to the rest of the League content.

The 'making of' series is really good too. It's on the League of Legends YouTube channel. Called "Bridging the Rift". Watch it with subtitles, the animation studio is based in France. Here's the playlist for it: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLbAFXJC0J5GYEkfxnGTWnvgcEypgBeAb5
