2024-07-04 19:42:57 +0000 UTCI think the playlist should've Included the "Cinematic Intro -Ruined King: a league of legends story" for the background on Viego, Isolde, and ruination as maybe the first video; as well as the Akshan "Story so far" videos to fill in the gaps between "before dawn " and "absolution". I think it gives a more in depth exploration of Ruination without reading the novel. It should also be explained that this "Ruination" event was a huge and wide spread Riot games event that percolated through Riot's many games including TFT, wild rift, and even the FPS Valorant.

And of course we would use JustAnotherNobody for the League part and maybe also the LoR voice lines from another creator if available. They are a great way to dive deeper in the champions lore for sure. For some we could also add champion teasers. Pantheon, Aurelion Sol, Kindred, Fiddlesticks, Aatrox and Evelynn come to my mind immediately, but there are much more. Nothing is decided yet, but I will pitch this. π

There's a channel on youtube called "JustAnotherNobody" Who edits all a champions voicelines together so they make sort of a continueus story and then they set it to really fitting music. The one for Pantheon is one of the most PUMPED experiences you can get. Can only recommend!

2024-07-04 07:40:00 +0000 UTCAs a Shyvana main on LoR I must object! π If you dive a little into the lore you will see that Shyvana is actually much more of a "good" character than for example Vayne. Because of their hate for everything magical the Demacians are at the very least suspicious about her and avoid her, while she is making it her main task to protect Demacia (and them!) from enemies. Vayne on the other hand attacks every "monster" (she defines what a monster is ofc) on first sight. (Btw it is Evelynn who is to blame for thisπ) This is why we had this second of Poppy and Vayne staring at each other. For Vayne Poppy could have easily been "prey" as well. It is almost out of chatacter not to attack her...π

2024-07-04 07:33:09 +0000 UTCHi Titas, fun fact about Lucian is that he was indeed based on the Matrix with the 'gun-fu' motif. The initial skin that was released with Lucian is a direct reference toward those Albino twins with dreads in the Matrix Reloaded. Vayne, obviously was based on Trinity from the Matrix and video game character Bayonetta lol. The Ruined King video game is basically League's equivalent to an Avenger's level threat, so heroes from different Regions team up to defeat the Ruined King. This Team up expands even further when Lucian and Senna, and even Akshan lol, began recruiting for the Sentinels of Light to permanently stop the Ruined King. If you want to know more about the Ruination, there was an official book that was Released called 'Ruination'. I highly recommend it! A young Ryze plays a major point in the story. I think ya'll would enjoy it. I love Viego's character so much. It might also be due to his amazing voice actor. He is such a tragic and amazing character hence why I 'one-tricked' him for a few seasons. Fun fact about Vayne, her parents were killed by your favourite demon Evelyn lol.

But it is kinda funny that no one talks about Lucian doing the exact same thing 30 min earlier.ππ Ofc I get it: Lucian is not willing to sacrifice the world to bring her back. Just his life... And yes Viego is a living army of red flags and toxic af. But still there is a little parallel we tend to ignore, right?π
