Kit Went to Irish Dracula's Grave!
Added 2023-12-12 15:37:41 +0000 UTCSORRY FOR THE WIND NOISE - but I finally went to Abhartach's grave!
It was cool to see in real life, and pretty fun to visit somewhere - even if I nerded out a bit while I was there... if you liked this let me know and we can make more videos on-location!
P.S. Once I started talking I realised I wish I knew exactly how old the boulders were, so I looked it up - the British Geographical Survey says -
"The large boulder that marks the grave is probably a glacial erratic. Portal tombs are just one of several types of Neolithic and Bronze Age tombs that were common across Ireland and parts of Britain, as well as areas in northern France. In Ireland, they are commonly made from glacial erratics, which are large boulders carried by ice from their original location and dumped when the ice began to melt."
