2024-07-17 06:39:36 +0000 UTCI heard in an analysis video that they don’t update the intro tapestry right after the events have taken place, but instead after “the history has been written and the propaganda has spread.” It makes me wonder then if we might see an embroidered Aegon killing Rhaenys instead of Aemond since that’s the narrative the greens are putting out to the small folk🤔. Also fun fact, they mentioned Meleys being Daemon’s mom’s old dragon but Caraxes’ previous rider before Daemon was Rhaenys’ dad!! I GOT A BONE TO PICK WITH THE WRITERS RYAN AND SARA 🧍🏻♂️🤬wtf was that scene with Daemon and his mom?! She died when he was 3 which is why Alys Rivers says “it’s a pity you never knew your mom”, WHY WOULD HE HALLUCINATE HER?!😭😭ohhh that was so unnecessary. Baela denying Corlys’ proposition to make her heir by saying “I am blood and fire, driftmark must pass to salt and sea” might be my fav line this whole season so far. And that is Rhaenyra’s handmaiden, Elinda Massey, who went to visit Dyana in Kings Landing! Fun fact about Elinda, she’s the youngest of Rhaenyra’s handmaidens and also the daughter of Lord Gormon Massey who sits on Rhaenyra’s small council! Loved the reaction and yalls discussion at the end!! I think Meesh is really hitting the nail on the head with her analysis on Alicent and that scene. And Dee brought up such a good point too, I feel like Alicent doesn’t really think about how the green council not wanting a woman on the throne could come back to bite her in the ass as them not listening to her. Cant wait for next weeks episode!! (and for y’all to start Vox Machina maybe soon? hehe🤭)
