2024-09-03 00:26:31 +0000 UTCI know I'm behind on episodes, but the Dungeon Master, Matt Mercer, made appearances in the first 3 episodes. Episode 1, he was the guy Scanlan pissed on. Episode 2, he was in the square when Scanlan and Grog were killing time and in Episode 3, he was the guard who they threw against the wall because they lost their ticket.

The first two episodes are absolutely adult-themed with the language, imagery, violence, etc. But the tone shift to that very dark storyline in episode 3 is always such a treat to be hit with!

On the D&D vibe, I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend the movie: Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves. It's hilarious, emotional, and really tightly written. Easy to enjoy whether you know a little or a lot about D&D.
