INSIDE OUT 2 | Reaction & Review (UNCUT)

Great movie and a great reaction. I am glad you said that you feel like you feel more joy now as an adult, thats such a great thing. For me tho, and also for others from what I can tell, " When you grow up, maybe you feel less Joy" hits really hard, that line and also for example nostalgia are great moments for older people watching this movie. They again did a great job making it for everyone. I probably still like the first more, just because all the emotions had more screen time but this was great. Anyway sorry if this is a bit incoherent I just wrote from my mind. So ye again great movie, great reaction, have a great day everyone.

I love this movie so much. It is so beautiful and intelligent, inside and out. It holds the high standards of the first movie. (And because I work with 6-11 years old kids, I loved part 1. It was so realistic!😍) It does not just repeat itself but evolved. The voice of Anxiety is Maya Hawke. Technichally, this movie is just beautiful animated. 🤩 It has been a long time, since I was so overwhelmed by the look of an animated movie, the last one was probably "Arcane". The characters developed realisticly. Riley grew, got a slightly more mature voice, has a pimple on her chin. And I love how the "old" emotions grow with Riley and get more mature and complex. Joy having a breakdown, Anger gets encouraging, is developing a softer side and a sense of fairness, Fear is less panicky and more caring, Sadness discovers her bravery and Disgust gets more supportive and empathetic. 😊🤔 And the new emotions are so on point and relatable...🥰 A thing that I love about Rileys story that is often overlooked is, that the emotions don't "control" her in the sence of steering her or make decisions for her. They do influence her decisions though and give her ideas, but it is up to her to take them or not. Of course when you're younger you act more irrational, more instictive and thus the emotions have a very big impact on everything you do. In part 1 her emotions were pretty much in charge. In part 2 she developed a sense of self that has as much influence on her decisions as her emotions. She grows up. Now she is at the age where she learns more and more to control her emotions. That's so beautiful shown in the end, when Riley actively recalls the joy she always felt when she was playing hockey. I love the little details and eastereggs all over the movie (to name only a few): - Joy has a little figurine of Bing Bong in the shelf above her bed - The Triple-Dent song still being in Rileys mind - Anxiety arrives with a lot of "emotional baggage" 😂 - Anxiety always balancing on the thin line between creepy and caring - Envy being greenish and small with huge eyes - Embarrasment coming out of his shell, only to be embarassed when the others react to it...🥰 - Ennui never pulls her socks completely up and only gets shaken out of her boredom when her smartphone went missing - The perfect depiction of a teenage mind 🤣 - The brainstorm of a myriad of ideas - The bluntness of making a "big idea" actually a really big lightbulb - Anxietys "Anxi-Tea" - Anxiety drinks at least one cup of coffee and six energy drinks - The 2D animation of "Bloofy" and "Pouchy" the characters of old kids TV-Shows, the way they behave weird, something you never noticed as a little kid - The secret videogame character crush and its pixelated animation and the way he doesn't get around obstacles 🤣 By the way, you missed the post credit scene. Now you will never know Rileys deep dark secret...😉😅 I loved your reaction and look forward to you reacting to other Pixar movies...😊🙋🏻‍♂️

RIGHT?! A third movie would be amazing! We don't mind waiting another 9-10 years if it's going to be this good 😆

Ahhahah! 😂🫶🏻 Can't wait to hear our thoughts on this one. We absolutely loved this sequel. It was too relatable!

Perfect timing. Just picked up tissues from my Costco run.

The first movie is amazing but somehow they managed to do another masterpiece. I am begging for Inside out 3

This is a pleasant surprise! 😍 Can't wait to watch it with you, unfortunately it arrived around bedtime here in germany. You have a very unique timing, your videos always arrive a tad too late for me to watch them at the same evening. I guess I have to move two time zones westward...😂🙈

Anxiety really scared the hell out of me! Maya Hawke's choice of sounding 'calm' at certain points (i.e., "Jooooy, I know you're here" during the projections scene) was absolutely unnerving too!
