We are so hyped to watch season 3 live with y’all!

The Legend of Vox Machina 2x12 | Reaction & Review (UNCUT)

Comments

It was a fun journey watching you go from, "We're gonna check out this show that was recommended to us." to "Hmmm, this show is pretty good." to "WoW, this show is amazing." To "This show is one of the best animations we've seen in a while. " Do you consider yourself Critters yet? If so welcome to the family." Looking forward to seeing your reactions to the new season.

lmaoo nooo scanlan was the grandfather of those kids at the beginning

Sammboeh

The CR crew said something about additional seasons or even a movie of Vox Machina in addition to the Mighty Nein show, so I'm guessing they'll do the final campaign arc of VM in a Season 4/5.

Rusty Childers

By your mortified expressions from Scanlan's dream scene, I'd like to clarify that he was the grandfather in that scenario and not the baby daddy lol. I'm so glad that you caught up just in time for season 3! Now go get married and get ready for Vox Machina and Arcane!

Tapiocca

To clear up any confusion, Keeper Yennen is not a dragon. Raishan magically transformed herself to look like Keeper Yennen. Dragons have all kinds of fun tricks. You two are fast becoming my favorite reactors. Hope the wedding goes/went well! Congrats!

I don't think you took the time to pay attention to the intro again, so just little tidbits, it opens with a raven that transforms into 7 threads of fate, then you see each character (or pair of characters) doing their own thing seperately while a thread passes by, then they are all united with a raven flying around. The matron was always there, like Vax said.

Simpelicity

Actually in D&D black dragons are the weakeast of the evil dragon (beside the white ones) but we're still talking about an ancient dragon after all. Tecnically Vex wasn't the first death in vox Machina. In the campaign the first death was Grog in a fight before the start of the animated story (and tecnically Grog dies again against Craven Edge the sword in the story). Anyway I'm so looking forward for season 3 where it should be my favorite part of all the campaign!!! Ps. It was confirmed that season 4 and a season 5 were in development (but honestly i can easily see them going over that). It was also confirmed that there will be a Mighty nein series

Raishan is the green dragon. The poison gas one who recognized Keyleth in the first episode.

It's funny that Vax says there's no such thing as luck, given that in the campaign his character had the Lucky feat. :D

Chris (darkwater)

So this is campaign 1 of "critical role", that follows the team of Vox Machina. And briarwoods, and the chroma conclave are some of the arcs of Campaign 1. There are multiple arcs in all seasons, Campaign 2 follows the team called "Mighty Nein", campaign 3 follows another but that will be revealed. Table to screen will ENAMOR you. Omg. Loved your enthusiasm for the show and it was a blessing seeing such unbiased takes, and you guys are the best, can't wait to see Season 3 with you both! <3

I don't think they've said how many seasons they're planning to do with Vox Machina, but at the very least it's safe to say season 3 won't be the end. There's still one major story arc/villain after the Chroma Conclave. I'd say 4 seasons would be the bare minimum, but I could easily see them going with 5.

You mentioned that Vex is the only one who died in the show so far but in the campaign they die a lot. She was actually resurrected by Kashaw in that moment in the temple but Vax's offering to the Raven Queen was part of that successful ritual. Craven Edge killed Grog for example, Pike resurrected him. I think they wanted to tone down resurrection magic because it might have killed the stakes. Matt has a homebrew rule for resurrection so that it actually can fail for them unlike in regular D&D, and it has actually failed as well, but they just kept getting really really lucky with the rolls up to this point.

Mattias Berg

The cast hasn't talked about Vox Machina season 4 that I've seen, but Travis did mention getting a bit overwhelmed by jumping back and forth between Vox Machina, Mighty Nein, and Bells Hells all within a couple days so it's safe to assume it's happening. They might just play with the timelines between the campaigns to stagger the releases or something.

Kyle Bolin

Campaign 1 Vox Machina Campaign 2 Mighty Nien Campaign 3 Bells Hells As for Vox Machina they could easily do 5 to 6 seasons there is still lots of story to be told.

KomoUpNorth

You two really motored through this show!! Kudos, hahaha.
