I'm unfortunately not too familiar with the entire livestream of C1 to know what parts are coming up in Season 3 either (I'm going in sortof blind, though I know some big moments). I think if you're able to supply us timestamps during the Crit Role livestream to match with the moments during the season though, that'd help us out greatly! I'll setup a temporary GoogleDrive folder that you and anyone else here interested in contributing their favorite livestream moments can submit video links/a text document with any relating info: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1lDPKfSccD64B8Pxg4CCpy9cWL_-0Fo7e?usp=sharing Please organize your submissions by including your name/username in the title of the file, in case we get files from multiple members. Since I'm allowing everyone Editor status on this folder in order to upload, practice respectful digital folder sharing - don't mess with someone else's uploads, I will see it and I will promptly reconsider making the folder only available to certain people. It will also help us keep track in case someone needs to update their files. Also keep in mind that any and all submissions will be considered and subject to heavy editing in order to keep the recording time within a certain time frame. Rest assured you will be credited with contributing if it ends up in the final edit, though!

I don't think we'll actually get many edited table to screen videos by the end of the season, so i imagine a lot of them are going to be videos of the moments that existed beforehand. The only reason i mention the editor is that a lot of the video titles are likely to be spoilers.

What he's taking a picture of is the dice roll to see if they would succeed in resurrecting Vex, to prove what he rolled. If he hadn't rolled high enough, she would be dead. Matt sticks to what the dice roll, and if they hadn't rolled high enough, he would not have let Vex come back.

Also, I love Laura and Liam's relationship so much, they truly act like siblings and just happen to share a birthday! It's why or part of why they decided to play twins.

Easily their smallest live show audience since, as usual, they underestimated how popular it would be. Sadly, Table to Screen didn’t do a vid for one of my favorite moments from the Umbrasyl fight, “I would like to fist the wound.” https://youtu.be/ySAmWaP-zeo Since we’re nearing Halloween, can I recommend the fun of watching Travis Willingham try to navigate a haunted house? 2024-09-26 06:16:29 +0000 UTCIf I remember correctly, that was the only time, though I may be mistaken, watched campaign a long time ago. They used it in a different context for adaptation (sorta like Peter Jackson did for lotr), but I'm glad it made the cut. Liam is good at things like that. There was also a really great moment when Vax was falling out of the window from the encounter with the Briarwoods, and in campaign, before losing consciousness, he RP'd his last thoughts, in case he dies. Brought tears not just to viewers, but to Marisha and Laura as well :D.

Dad's not around, mommy issues, discovered by Dr. Dranzel (Dr. Dre). Sam said he thought Matt caught on since Scanlan's surprise daughter was named Kaylie (Eminem's daughter is Hailie), but it turned out to be a funny coincidence.

2024-09-26 00:13:10 +0000 UTC"Do not go far from me" in the campaign was said by Vax in the aftermath of dragon attack on the city, they were looking over the survivors at their keep. In the same exchange Vex asks "Do you think this is what mother saw before she died?" (As we know from season 1 ep 1, their mother was killed by a dragon), hence her emotional state in that moment.

2024-09-25 21:45:11 +0000 UTCFor time, story efficiency and that they wanted to make key events even cooler, some stuff happens at different points in time in the show than it might have during the campaign so you're likely to see clips mixed together from different campaign episodes to fit the table-to-screen format.

2024-09-25 21:30:05 +0000 UTCIf you guys are curious about how a real game goes you might want to try watching the first episode of the Mighty Nein campaign. It sprinkles in a little of everything and since they're level 1 or 2 they don't have a bunch of crazy complicated rules to keep up with. Plus seeing the cast surprise each other as entirely different characters is hilarious (Laura playing Jester is almost the exact opposite of Vex)!

Each episode is 3 hours long (on the extreme low end, the killbox episode where they fight kev'dak was the longest for a while, and it was like 5 1/2), and the first campaign is 115 episodes. Watching a compilation or two might be fun for a patreon exclusive though once Vox Machina is over. (even those could get to 1+ hours depending on what the compilation was lol)

2024-09-25 21:02:35 +0000 UTCLarger context around the Vax/Vex scenes + some of the Raven queen stuff is Liam's (Vax) mom was sick and died around that time. Liam has said that a lot of the emotions and aimlessnes Vax had in the campaign at the tiem was directly related to his own emotions and aimlessness. Matt combined the unexpected aspects of the deal with the Raven Queen with a feat Liam took for Vax called Lucky to made the lore about Vax being Fate-Touched; specifically so Liam would be reminded how much he mattered to them and that he touched all of their lives.

If you have the time/schedule, the 4 part EXU Calamity campaign is a masterclass of storytelling and D&D. It's DM'ed by Brennan Lee Mulligan who heads up Dimension 20, another great D&D group. In the world of D&D dungeon masters, Brennan and Matt are at the top of the list. The series shows how the Calamity started and a great lore dump of Exandria's history. If you do decide to react to it, there's 4 parts and each one is like 4-5 hours, which is a lot to take in. I've seen other reactors break each episode in like 3 parts, but whatever works best for you all. Either way, excited to share Vox Machina S3 with you both. Bidet. 👋
