My immediate thought was that Jayce saw some crazy stuff and is probably in the right to kill Viktor. Heimerdinger said it’s dangerous multiple times.

2024-12-23 04:40:03 +0000 UTCThe conclusion is that, if Hextech had never been invented, the wealth disparity between Zaun and Piltover would have likely equalized over time with the presence of our Heimerdinger who came back 3 years prior Ekko. As a result, the Undercity wouldn't have fallen further behind because of the Hexgate, as Silco suggested in Episode 1x4. Silco wouldn’t have felt the urgency to overthrow Vander after Vi’s heist, which put Vander in a tough position. It's possible that Silco might have discovered Vander's letter during that time, leading to a potential reconciliation between them.

Ekko's Z-Drive allows him to rewind himself 4 seconds backwards in time, and the Ekko and Powder dance scene was animated at 4 frames per second. The blue flower pendant that Powder was spinning at the end of the episode is one of those "image hidden inside another image and it has Ekko's and Powder's silhouettes in the flower, facing away from each other. The fan ship of Ekko and Powder/Jinx is called "Time Bomb" because of each of their themes.

2024-11-26 08:18:03 +0000 UTCI haven't seen anyone point this out yet, but Heimerdinger mentioned that he had been in the "alternate reality" already for like 1200 days (or 3+ years). He would have appeared while still being on the council, and has all this new knowledge/perspective about the suffering in Zaun. So he is likely a big reason why Piltover and Zaun look like they are peaceful and Zaun looks way improved.

Powder knew he had to go, she's far too intelligent to not know what was going on and the result of this experiment. she just wanted it to last.. but in a bittersweet way wanted him to go, and now understands the potential future. But at least she has the solace in knowing her sister survived in a different dimension, so she can slowly forgive herself for her part in vi's death. Same way Ekko can now see a way to potentially see good in his universe and learned to forgive himself, because he now understands he was the one who gave up on powder to begin with instead of trying to get her out of her destructive habits early. Beautiful, 10/10 song too omfg.

It was beautiful inside (story, character development) and out (animation, music)...😍💖 Even the post-apocalyptic void Jayce walks through is beautiful in its dark, distorted way. 😱 For a moment I actually wanted to call to you through the screen: "Stop calling her Jinx! This is Powder. Jinx never existed here." But thank god you caught up to that. 😅🙈 ALTERED OPENING CREDITS: - The disc in the jukebox at the beginning showing Ekko instead of Vi hinting at her not being present in this episode. - The flashing images in the opening credits are always placed with the characters the episode centers around, in this case Ekko and Jayce. - Between Caitlyn and Jayce you can see the kneeling figure that Jayce get's his hammer from. - When Vis face is shown you can see the two V-shaped beams across her face change into an X, hinting at her being dead in this episode. - And when Ekko jumps the green light beam, you can see Heimerdingers face with his goggles on. Imagine how Ekko must feel after he spent half of his live watching his beloved Powder turn into Jinx more and more, no wonder he threw something at her the first moment he saw her. Seeing a healthy Powder smile happily is such a wonderful picture, it heals our hearts as viewer so much to see her this way. 💖 This show is all about forgiveness and love and that everything you do has consequences, so Vi "had" to die for this storyline, as sad as it is. It couldn't be any of the others, their death wouldn't have such an impact. Her death - the death of a beloved big sister, a leader and protector amongst the teenagers of Zaun - triggers all the changes for the better. A teenager dying in an explosion at a failed break-in was the wake-up call both cities needed. Jayce is out of the picture (dead/arrested/banned) at a time where he didn't figure hextech out yet and Powder never figured out that the blue gem stone caused the explosion, so hextech got never invented. Having her remaining family still intact, Powder was able to make peace with the loss of her sister and the circumstances and could grow into this wonderful person we saw right now. Marcus felt for the kids and never got this angry and corrupted. Ekko never lost Benzo. Vander and Grayson never died and were able to bring the cities closer together. Silco found Vanders letter and they reconciled and were both able to let their vision of Zaun become reality. Unfortunately, Vi and Caitlyn never met. Man, I love this show so much...💖😍 About the dreams, Ekko has: "Our" Ekko says he dreamed that Zaun could be like this. I think his dreams were flashes of this universe. Powders tells us that "her" Ekko sometimes zones out and has dreams that gave him ideas what to invent. I think that is him getting flashes of our Ekkos ideas. These universes (that are so similar to each other) seem to influence each other...🤔 This show is so great and so unparalleled can't wait to see your next reaction to it...🤩

They had Jinx say in episode 5 how things could have been different for the two of them if he had read it. Then two episodes later we get a "what if" universe.

2024-11-25 16:48:25 +0000 UTCthe war definitely did happen in that universe. as you said, everything happened the exact same way up until the heist. they wouldnt have had an incentive to go on the heist if there was just equality across both cities. silco still got the scar from his eye due to Vander trying to kill him after the rebellion. they still call it "zaun". after Vi (possibly jayce too?) on the heist, apparently instead of them trying to look for a culprit, as they were all still there, grieving, the council mustve decided this is not something they should pursue but rather improve the problems that preceded this tradegy. If anything it's kinda poignant that after an explosion in topside caused deaths, they realize something has to change, but it happens in Zaun, and they're barely aware of it if at all.
