I'm super late to responding to this message but it warmed my heart, so better late than never! 🥹 Seriously your words mean so much—we all cry together, and it’s been such a special journey sharing Arcane with you and the community. We’ll miss those weekly waits for new episodes too, but we’re excited for whatever Riot brings next and for all the adventures ahead. Totally agree, the cast, crew, and everyone involved deserve endless praise for bringing this masterpiece to life. As for the soundtrack, it's honestly so hard to choose.... The Line, Remember Me, I can't hear it now, & Fantastic.. Not in any particular order but I have most of the songs on repeat atm. And yes, Vi’s resilience is inspiring, but Jinx? She absolutely steals the show every time!

2024-12-09 05:06:39 +0000 UTCI'm super late BUT still - I deeply appreciate "villains" in this show. First it was Silco and as soon as S1 ended and S2 started I really missed him. And still with episode 7 I had to realise what Powder could be without his influence. LAYERS of character building. Ambessa? Many people hate her. But she's perfect as a Noxian, as a warrior and as a mother in position of power. Truly a fox and a wolf. Singed. This man described himself perfectly - patience. Doing unthinkable for love and never looking back. Never in the spotlight, doing everything for his goal. No less, no more than needed. And it paid back, he's got what he wanted. Also the fact that Singed influenced Viktor in the most important moments: as a kid "the mutation must survive"; "I understand now" when working on hexcore with shimmer; after their meeting in the commune as Jayce shot him - "the doctor was right" while giving up on humanity. And as for Viktor - yeah, he's my favorite. Just thinking where he started as a character and where he got in the end. His relation with Jayce was the centre of the finale and I absolutely loved it. What a journey with these two.

2024-12-05 22:36:16 +0000 UTCWhat a fairy-tale-happily-ever-after ending... for Singed lol. My man beat Arcane on hard mode. My favorite moment in the finale was Caitlyn's final fight with Ambessa. She used all the principles Ambessa taught her in her training session: vision, might, guile, and one that heightens all others: sacrifice by sacrificing half her vision! lol I would like to see a Looney Tunes/Smurf-style show of the Yordles for the upcoming projects. I'd watch the hell out of that lol.

Sad this story is over, but definitely looking forward to seeing the new adventures and characters they have in store for us man. All the cast/crew/animators and anyone involved in this project deserve all the praises. I'm selfish cause I want like, 3 more episodes or something 😂 I appreciate also the fact y'all did a longer review/reflection of this show, just so we get your raw thoughts and emotions! I think it would be cool for you guys to play a story based/decision making game, like Walking Dead by Telltale games for example, it's nothing too crazy, pretty straightforward, and just basically an interactive cinematic/show, with different seasons and episodes, could be a fun idea to ponder on! My fave episodes are similar, definitely 5, 7, and I think 3 and 6 are my top episodes at the moment. I will ask, since you guys love the soundtrack (as probably most of us do lol), I'm curious, what were your top 3, or in general favorite songs from this season, or even last season also? (Anyone if you want, feel free to share yours btw lol) DANG now that I think about it, I do wish this season had one legit hip-hop/rap song moment, similar to Ekko's fight scene in S1, I don't believe they had one, but anyways for this particular season, I'd probably go with Remember Me, To Ashes and Blood, and Ma Meilleure Ennemie. Favorite character is still probably Vi, I'm biased cause I like Hailee Steinfeld lmao, but regardless, I do love the character, her strong will, persistence, even through all the loss and adversity, she keeps fighting. Truly though, Jinx is the star of the show, Ella Purnell killed it!

Cait is reviewing the Hexgate vents while holding thee monkey head. Then the final shot is the exact same blimp that Powder says she'll ride in one day in S1E1. So she ends up walking away to break the cycle, like her conversation with Silco in the jail cell.

2024-11-26 09:51:53 +0000 UTCThe three eyed raven is reference to the demon Raum. You can see multiple ravens through both seasons and you can see a raven following Mel as she heads back to Piltover. The raven consumes dead bodies to gain their memories/secrets. You'll see people say its Swain but it depends if they change the timeline because Swain gains the power of Raum after the 2nd Ionian war. The 2nd war is when Singe goes to Ionia. They do reference Swain multiple times with the ravens, Caitlyn in her commander clothes looks like Swain, the Jinxers painting over Cait's eyes most likely imply that Cait is blind, Ambessa trains Cait and teach her the 3 core principle of Noxus which is Vision (Swain), Might (Darius), and Guile(Le Blanc). She then tells Cait that her base form is Vision. This may imply that Vi is Might and Jinx is Guile. The 3 forms a council called the Trifirax with Swain representing Vision sitting at the top. Swain loses an arm and offers it to the 3 eyed raven for it to spare his life. Cait losing an eye might be a parallel. Ambessa says Cait is Vision because she can see things that people could not. Cait looking at the Hex Gates blue prints is most likely significant because she might be looking at where can Jinx escape to and believe Jinx is still alive since she's a trickster(Guile).

I loved Vi and Mel, but she just had so much depth and every act we got a whole new version of her. Simp character was Rictus but if this is a safe space... ascended Warwick in the final episode was kinda... 😳(Apparently I have a thing for large fictional men who can and will kill me) I understand why we're skipping "FMK" because EVERYONE is killing Maddie. Favorite episode has gotta be the finale for the Jinx scenes alone. Wish I could be more creative with my answer but the scenes of her trying to die over and over and finally succeeding (😉?) just broke my heart in the best way, and the music was incredible.

We all crode. 😭😭 But for real. Gonna miss waiting for new Arcane reactions, but I'm already super looking forward to you watching whatever the next Riot show is (and obviously anything else you guys want to react to outside of League IP). Big shoutout to you both, the editors, the mods and the community for putting in the work to make this such an amazing series to watch along to and for the space y'all have created around this show. ❤

2024-11-26 06:08:18 +0000 UTComg yeah the discourse between the creators vs. the fandom regarding jayce and viktor right now is super intense because several other creators (beyond the co-creator, ranging from animators, character designers, voice actors, writers, etc.) have all said jayvik can easily be read as romantic (and some have even said that they created it to be read as romantic) but that one co-creator (who i wont name) said it wasnt and now everyone is arguing over it....in my opinion, i see it as romantic, but to each their own lol. amazing finale though, this show means so much to me! <3 thank you guys for the reactions!!! loved going on this journey with you guys!
