Sync Guidelines
Videos are edited in watch-along style format, so you will need your own copy of the film/show to sync with us.

Pausing and Playing: Due to the length of the movie, we may have taken a couple of pauses/breaks. This means you may need to sync up your copy of the movie/show again. We will give a verbal countdown such as "3, 2, 1... Start." You should click "start" on your copy of the show to sync again. We tried to minimize any cuts/pauses but just in case you need to re-sync, you can follow the subtitles from the video and sync with your copy.
Dual Monitor Setup: Utilize a dual monitor PC setup for simultaneous viewing of both screens.
Split Screen Viewing: Employ the split-screen function on your device to watch the reaction and your show/movie side by side.
Connectivity Options: Consider Chromecast/screen-sharing or HDMI connection to a TV, allowing for a larger display of one screen while using another device for the reaction video.

2025-01-16 05:22:51 +0000 UTCDee was cracking me up this whole episode 😂 also Meesh brought up a great point about Richter being much younger and less experienced than Trevor which I think a lot of people (including myself) forget their first time watching nocturne. An example of this that I noticed is the difference in how trevor and Richter think of themselves as Belmonts. Trevor had a better understanding of the bigger purpose of his family, saying that "finding things and recognizing things is what we do" and that the belmonts fought monsters, not just vampires. So far richter has only said that he kills vampires - nothing else. He didn't even know what a night creature was until now. In the original series Trevor is someone who goes from wandering drunk to remembering and regaining his true identity as a Belmont while nocturne seems to be about richter overcoming his trauma and learning that there is more to being a Belmont than just killing vampires. I love Castlevania because its not your typical action packed anime but rather a deep dive of all these different character arcs and thorough examination into why people do the things they do. Literally everyone in the original series (except Carmilla lol) is slightly or greatly different by the end of the series than when we first meet them. Since there’s no blatant exposition fed to you you kinda have to really think about each person’s dialogue and actions to figure out their true intentions, which I find fun. I think I’m most excited to see Olrox’s story unfold because I find him the most fascinating. Anyway sorry for rambling, been loving your reactions!

2025-01-16 01:21:20 +0000 UTCCastlevania and Castlevania Nocturne are like 300 or 400 years apart. Juste Belmont is arguably one of the Top 3 Strongest Belmonts in the Line he's magic potential was so strong he barely needed the Whip.
