Sync Guidelines
Videos are edited in watch-along style format, so you will need your own copy of the film/show to sync with us.
*We will count down 3...2...1... START. Press play right when we say "Start" for accurate syncing. We are still in the process of figuring out time codes*
To ensure compliance with copyright laws and to enhance your viewing experience, our reaction videos require synchronization with your own copy of the content. Here's a detailed guide to seamlessly sync your viewing:
Pausing and Playing: Due to the length of the movie, we may have taken a couple of pauses/breaks. This means you may need to sync up your copy of the movie/show again. We will give a verbal countdown such as "3, 2, 1... Start." You should click "start" on your copy of the show to sync again. We tried to minimize any cuts/pauses but just in case you need to re-sync, you can follow the subtitles from the video and sync with your copy.
Dual Monitor Setup: Utilize a dual monitor PC setup for simultaneous viewing of both screens.
Split Screen Viewing: Employ the split-screen function on your device to watch the reaction and your show/movie side by side.
Connectivity Options: Consider Chromecast/screen-sharing or HDMI connection to a TV, allowing for a larger display of one screen while using another device for the reaction video.
These methods facilitate a connected and immersive reaction viewing experience, ensuring you're perfectly in sync with our content. π

2025-01-24 00:45:19 +0000 UTCYou guys talked about this a little before and might have already gotten comments but the Demon Slayer elemental powers are just visual. So Tanjiro is not actually summoning water with his attacks. It's just for us the viewers to see. HOWEVER the attacks do still have the effects of the elements. Tanjiro's fire attack would burn when cutting a demon even though there's no actual fire. This is why Tanjiro heard lightning strike when Zenitsu was fighting in episode 17. It seems like a dumb and confusing decision writing wise but I think it's to prevent some plot holes. It'd be hard to explain away the hordes of butterflies Shinobu constantly summons with each attack. Or the gallons of water Tanjiro is dumping everywhere.

I know you're ahead so you probably realized by now that the show does an interesting way of making you feel for some of the demons and also how to some demons, the demon slayers are the bad guy, since they seem themselves as victims (even if it's inaccurate and unforgiveable). The 12 Kizuki are indeed exponentially stronger than any demon, and some people may complain that "oh come on, Rui died so fast by Giyu." And yes, that's the point. We've seen Tanjiro grow so much and get stronger, especially right after episoide 19, and this quick "Cleanup" job from giyu effortlessly is to REMIND the viewer that Tanjiro is nowhere near being anywhere close to a Hashira, let alone the stronger upper moons or muzan, if he struggled so hard against Rui only for Giyu to show you the baseline of how strong HE is vs Tanjiro... and yet the 12 moon demons and muzan havent been wiped out yet. It's also not just about the strength but tactics. Up until reports got to the Master of the demon slayer corps that dozens of demon slayers died on this mountain, they wouldnt know where to find those 12 moons, and had the leak not happen just in time, and for him to send TWO of the highest ranking demon slayers there ASAP, our own trio that we've been following would have also been eradicated too. That episode may seem like an underwhelming start after e19 to some, but it's the implication reminder of the fact that we have a long long way to go.

2025-01-18 21:54:06 +0000 UTCI love how this episode shows the power differences between the regular demon slayers and the Hashiras. We see Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke being really powerful these past couple episodes only for the Hashiras to come in and skill diff them lol
