2025-02-19 01:56:37 +0000 UTCto clarify, it's not that Daki is a "fake Upper Six"- as most other reactors state for some reason- they share the spot. it's a very common misconception tbh since once Gyutaro and Tengen come out to play, and Daki starts whining, people forget about how strong she actually is (this is why I love you two, neither of you once downplayed Daki- i'm such a Daki defender LOL) a good comparison is Tanjiro and Nezuko, actually; like, people saw Nezuko destroying Daki while Tanjiro (despite getting close) couldn't force her into submission like that for very long. and yet nobody claims that Tanjiro is weak and useless without Nezuko, y'know? they need each other too! Gyutaro is closer to what you'd expect when you talk about the strength of an Upper Rank, sure, but they need each other. i can't wait to see you guys react to all of their powers and dynamic together, and why so many Hashira have fallen to them. what makes Upper Six horrifying isn't that you're fighting two people... it's more accurate to say that you're fighting one person that can be in two different places (their sync is so good they're basically one singular strong ass demon) Gyutaro is a strong demon in his own right, but... trust me, the two of them together is ridiculous- especially when they're having to fight four people lmao oh! also, they aren't twins, no! :> good luck not binging the rest of the episodes btw! a certain upcoming episode actually won Best Animation for the Crunchyroll Awards edit: forgot to mention something about Nezuko's transformation! good eye noticing that she seemed older; that's actually what's happening whenever she gets big or small! she's not just adjusting her size- she's literally changing her physical age! so Nezuko's transformed state is basically how she'd look as an adult (not too sure on the exact physical age)! people were weirded out by the bitties, but that's also because they don't understand that she is physically aging herself- at that age, she has bitties ig, regardless i think her design is sick

2025-02-18 22:52:49 +0000 UTC27:40 and that, ladies is ONE of the reasons why i said don't watch the intro. it has spoilers on who the upper demon they think they're fighting vs the real one, and other spoilers about characters. You can probably watch the intro next episode btw. I just didn't want you girls who pay close attention to details, to notice a few frames of whether that would spoil this reveal for you... and honestly i think the way you were surprised by this reveal makes it worth it for me, because i couldn't gamble on you 2 watching hte intro 8 times in a row + during edits (where you can slow down and accidentally pause on frames, and see the spoilers) And that's not counting the little things that you might underestimate now, like the fact that they're in entertainment district, infiltrated as girls, nezuko's flower tattoo form, the explosions in the city, etc, Or even that one of the oirans being the upper demon (before they hinted at her), what is that oiran (daki)'s real fform with the white hair and the belts etc , and the brother's blood attacks coming on screen from no where, and the brother showing up in the background of the moon , and the backstory of who uzui is (shinobi stuff) and the wives etc... all of which has been shown enough now in this season that you can watch the intro without being spoiled of the major plot points
