I also agree it is a super fun show, and I would not complain if you watched that. Great fun!! With that said, Blue Eyed Samurai is absolutely amazing, a tale based around factual events that occurred in that era of Japan, and it's a story I believe you two will very much enjoy.

It’s set in a world where magic and science combine into alchemy—a power that lets you transform matter. But it follows one rule: the Law of Equivalent Exchange. If you want to create something, you must give up something of equal value. This anime has deep themes about philosophy, politics, and ethics, but it also mixes in action, drama, and humor, making it a great anime! There are two versions of the story: Fullmetal Alchemist (2003) – Since the manga wasn’t finished at the time, this version takes a different path halfway through. I like to see it as an alternative story. Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood (2009) – This version follows the original story completely. I recommend watching this one first! Thanks for reading. ♥♥♥

So I personally think you'd enjoy it all but solo leveling should come now while the iron is hot for your success on top of it being amazing in itself (especially s2)

To give you an idea, they spent months studying even the movements of geishas and fight choreography, among other things. It's as realistic as possible. It's a work of art that went unnoticed by many people, and very few have even reacted. I hope you can watch it. A big hug for both!
