We have a ton of exciting news about the new content we’ll be watching in the coming month! After a long time of convincing, I finally got Dee to agree to watch The Last of Us Season 2! She’s very sensitive to dark and horror themes, so please be patient and kind—I’m beyond grateful that she agreed to watch it with me on the channel lol 🥲 We already watched Season 1 together before starting the channel, so there won’t be reactions for that.
Even though we’re total babies when it comes to horror and gore, we love the TLOU story and are so excited to experience Season 2 with you all. To get ready, we’re hosting watch-alongs for Season 1 on our Discord as a recap before the new season drops in April! 🙌

❖ Replacing Solo Leveling → FRIEREN
EDIT: We will still be finishing Season 2! There aren’t too many episodes, so we’ll get through it quickly before starting our reactions to Frieren. 🫶
Since we’ll be watching TLOU, I owe it to Dee to balance things out with some wholesome content! Frieren has been high on our watchlist, so this is the perfect time to finally dive into it.

MHA has 7 seasons and the final season is coming out soon, while Spy Family has 2 and a 3rd on the way. (Attack on Titan is also good and I'm sure a lot of ppl would recommend but idk if Dee would be able to handle that AND TLOU lol)

It’s set in a world where magic and science combine into alchemy—a power that lets you transform matter. But it follows one rule: the Law of Equivalent Exchange. If you want to create something, you must give up something of equal value. This anime has deep themes about philosophy, politics, and ethics, but it also mixes in action, drama, and humor, making it a great watch! There are two versions of the story: Fullmetal Alchemist (2003) – Since the manga wasn’t finished at the time, this version takes a different path halfway through. I like to see it as an alternative story. Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood (2009) – This version follows the original story completely. I recommend watching this one first! Attack on Titan makes the most sense to follow Demon Slayer if you want another longer, modern classic type of show. It is one of the best of its genre but just be warned it's dark and grim so it won't be an easy watch especially for Dee. Lots of gore, death, politics and depression. 😂

I still think that "the haunting of hill house" although classified as horror and dark, has some of the best story and videography and character depth of many shows I've seen recently. Hoping one day dee takes the plunge like I did. It was so worth it and I'm usually scared shitless!
