Pausing and Playing: Due to the length of the movie, we may have taken a couple of pauses/breaks. This means you may need to sync up your copy of the movie/show again. We will give a verbal countdown such as "3, 2, 1... Start." You should click "start" on your copy of the show to sync again. We tried to minimize any cuts/pauses but just in case you need to re-sync, you can follow the subtitles from the video and sync with your copy.
Dual Monitor Setup: Utilize a dual monitor PC setup for simultaneous viewing of both screens.
Split Screen Viewing: Employ the split-screen function on your device to watch the reaction and your show/movie side by side.

Did you notice a lot throughout episodes 4-6. The Frontman looks out for and takes care of the pregnant girl, always looking out for and sweet to her; he probably has a soft spot for her because she likely reminds him of his pregnant wife who died. I have a feeling that in season 3, other than his brother. She will bring out some essence/sprinkles of humanity which I think he still has in him.

2025-06-22 03:13:45 +0000 UTCAbout the marine guy who chickened out, based on my theories/analysis: Do you remember in ep4/5 it was revealed that he grew up with 4 older sisters and he was the only boy which explains his very feminine, kind, and caring personality, sort of a feminine haircut, gentle demeanour, we see him smile all the time and, also with him being so good at gong-gi in the 6-legged race which is traditionally a girls game. In ep 5 when asked about his father, he said his father was also a war veteran and wanted to force his son to be the "man of the house", being "masculine" / "tough"; he had sky high expectations for him, so much so that he named him "dae-ho", it means "the great tiger". Also to note, if you pay attention to the scene in ep 5, when gi-hun's friend stated that his father might be a great guy because he was a veteran, he slightly hesitated; as if he didn't like what he said and immediately changes the subject. This probably subtly indicates that he was physically abused by his father and probably yelled at for doing things that his sisters could get away with. I personally don't think he was faking being a marine, I think he just had a PTSD episode, it likely wasn't the fight itself, it was maybe the constant barrage of gunfire; he is seen constantly covering his ears; and the constant screams. Fun Fact : In South Korea, military training is "mandatory" for all Men aged 18-30 for minimum for 2 years, so every male player in the game know the basics of handling a gun. I think Dae-ho saw this as an opportunity to earn his dad's approval and making a name for himself in the army. It is speculated that during his time in the marines, a terrible traumatic shooting incident happened that killed many of his squad mates. But because of the abuse he endured growing up, his mind froze, he was overwhelmed and couldn't help, and probably deserted them similar to what he did here. His dad probably rejected him calling him a coward and ended up on the streets. I think everything he does and how he acts this season was trying to affirm his identity and transform into a version of himself that his dad wanted. Proudly showing off his marine tattoo in ep 6 but ended up getting laughed at, and also willing to volunteer in the gi-hun's rebellion and volunteering to get ammo from the dormitory even though he was scared but couldn't do it at the last minute.

2025-06-22 02:04:54 +0000 UTCMy interpretation of what the frontman's angle is that, he likely wants gi-hun to lose faith in humanity by driving a point home that people are trash and greedy no matter what, and gi-hun believes the opposite and forever had faith in humanity. I think this is why he is always obsessed with gi-hun; always looking at him, finds him fascinating and assessing him all the time, it's almost like he has some sick enjoyment seeing him disappointed and broken time and time again. It's interesting that gi-hun and frontman are like opposite sides of the same coin with both of them being former winners, except one of them ended up losing faith in people; turned to the dark side, while the other still tries to maintain his humanity & spirit, and frontman tries to break them. They both are kinda constantly like challenging each others principles, views and ideologies. Gi-Hun previously thought it was not justifiable to sacrifice a few for the greater good, but as it progresses; after he failed multiple times to convince others to get out, he ultimately made a decision to sacrifice. The frontman can be seen slightly smiling after hearing his plan. Again It's also worth noting that both of them entered the games to get money for the medical treatment for their loved one, frontman won the money to later know that his wife had already passed, gi-hun won the money only to find out his mom passed.
