30:50 @meesh "not to toot my own horn but i'm pretty good at predicting stuff but i'm stomped on this show" GIRL, SAME. I am the guy who pays attention to chekhov's gun and music/animation/artistic licenses in terms of how something is being portrayed, and i had at least 50 different theories by this point, some completely different and some with minor tweaks or mutations but in same bucket... and all i can tell you is that by the time the how ended, i think i doubled or tripled the number of theories i had... and only TWO of my "batshit crazy theories" turned out to be actually true, and they were the ones that i threw in because my tin foil hate cut off circulation off my brain... the rest that i threw in were partially true or immediately dismissed as "nah u buggin brag" ... and you know what? I still consider that i did a good job with the information given to me along the way hahaha. The show does a good job at letting you theorize and then throw in a wrench in your theory to see if it's still working. Think of like this show is a resilliency test for your theories... Those who hate on the show are those who cannot theorize and have to be spoon fed information and "wow" action with no substance, and cannot be bothered to have the patience of this slow burn of "will you figure it out before the show tells you everything" ? :)

so at the time, i dont think it was ripping off it face because ilse told him to, but i (at the time) thought that the titan was basically holding its own face back to fight against its instinct of eating Ilse, because of something (that we dont know yet) in terms of why it reverred Ilse and called her "lady ymir", but even then it couldnt stop that urge of eating her...and u can see that when it ate ilse, it was like a euphoric feeling, almost like someone fighting the urge to take that heroin needle shot, but then getting that euphoric feeling when they do, and then the shame that comes after. Also as for the story from a few episodes about the underground, you made me read that fully for the firs time! I actually see why meesh has that theory, and i am just surprised i never had that theory, but i guess i was tunnel visionned on my own understanding of that story back then. I think i understood that story a bit differently. I actually have never FULLY read that story before (because, like @Dee, my brain shut down :P ) , but from what YOU were reading for me outloud, it sounded like the "missing people" was a direct correlation/implication that "these people were asking questions and spoke up to the wrong people, and then he went missing, and then his friend started asking about him and then also went missing." so i'm ACTUALLY not sure if that's the implication they're trying to imply with that story (titans in walls theory) or if's just to further press the story of no-regrets that "there are some bad people that take their own selfish gains or agenda above the good of others, and the people who were poking into other people's business and disrupting those people's selfish business got silenced for it?" ( like how that guy was attempting to murder erwin for poking into his business and uncovering that this random lord was trying to sway the votes to defund the scouts, etc).
