Website Issues Update

Hey guys! Here's a long post that I just need to vent about, but short version:

TLDR: Putting comics up on my website for you guys is not feasible at the moment so we have to do it the old fashioned way, via DM's here on Patreon.

My soul is weary. DM's being sent out shortly with current Hellvira page.

Seriously, this is a lot of me just venting, but it's all of the problems I'm facing. Be warned, long post that you really do not need to read at all!

So, it turns out the simple little plugin that makes integrating your Patreon onto your Website is not so simple and is in fact such a massive pain in my ass and headache inducing shitstorm that I might not be able to move ahead with the website content for you guys. 

If you'll indulge my venting for a moment, here's a little taste of what I've been experiencing:

• The Plugin has a dropdown for each Patreon tier (for example, I want page A to be gated to only the $5 Boob Barbarian tier, and page B to be gated to $10 Jugg Knights. Sounds great!), only in my case the dropdown says:  

"You have no tiers in this campaign" (mind you my two pages ARE connected) It also says "Patreon Lite plan does not support tiers. If you want to gate your content for different tiers upgrade your Patreon plan to Pro and above here." 

I, however, do not have a Patreon Lite plan, I have a FOUNDERS plan, the best plan you can get because I was grandfathered in! It's great. So, nothing wrong on my end.

• Luckily for me, there's a $ dropdown where you can enter the numerical value by hand! So I put $5 on the correct page, and $10 on the other. Easy peazy right?
• WRONG! Several of you aren't able to access the correct pages as you dutifully pointed out (thank you guys!) . Not only that but for some reason, no one can access the Holly Hills pages even though they're set up exactly the same as the Hellvira pages?? This is now what we call a minor issue. 
• Time to message the Plugin developer! I stated the above issue and the answer is.... 

1 - If you are sure you are on founders’ plan, this should be a bug. You can confirm it by visiting Tiers tab in Edit Page for your campaign profile at Patreon.

2 - If tiers are missing, that may end up happening.

• Well guess what my friends, I went to that Edit page and visited those Tiers and what did I find? NO MISSING TIERS.
• This is now frustrating but hopefully manageable, until of course one of you shining beacons of truth illuminated to me that some people in the $5 tiers are now gaining access to the $10 content on the website. THIS IS NOW AN ISSUE.  And sure, bumps in the road are to be expected but the whole point of having tiers is to give people different options for different content. If I can't get this to work it's back to square one.
• Round 2 messages to the developer! Which they respond with:

Can you try disconnecting your site from Patreon and reconnecting it again.

The $5-$10 access situation can happen if you set lifetime pledge value for a post.

• I did my homework bro, other people on the forum had the same problem with setting a lifetime pledge value so I made sure to not do that.
• You guys, you guys, guess what happened when I tried disconnecting my site from Patreon and reconnecting it again? If you guessed that there was a mother fucking ERROR, then you guessed right! The error reads:

Sorry, couldn't disconnect your site

Please wait a few minutes and try again. If this issue persists, you can visit your your app/clients page and delete the app/client for this site. Then you can save empty values for details in "Connection details" tab in "Patreon settings" menu at your site. This would manually disconnect your site from Patreon. Then, you can reconnect your site to another Patreon account or to the same account

• Alright, this is once again, headache inducing at BEST. So I zip over to Patreon, delete the client for Wordpress and low and behold THERE IS NO "Connection details" TAB IN THE "Patreon settings" jfgJFDSLKJSLKJEN!!!@#@! 
• JFC!!!
• Im so tired.

I've honestly never had this much trouble on a website... Ever? Like of any sort of customizable website. This is absurd and it should all literally be fixable with a click or two. 

While this is massively frustrating, we can still do things the old fashioned way with DM's until a better solution comes along, or until this ridiculous plugin fixes itself because I'm fed up with it.
