ok got it, so there wasnt really any soul involved with izumi's "baby"

2025-05-22 19:14:23 +0000 UTCThey both transmuted human-like bodies. "Mum" could move because Al's soul was getting inside it, while Izumi's "baby" was just an abnormal, lifeless body. There has never been a successful case of doing that.
