Also the scene between the Dr and Amy when they’re sat outside is so beautiful ❤️

There was supposed to be more of the villain but apparently he was a massive pain in the ass when filming this episode and they didn’t end up getting a bunch of stuff they wanted which is why he just vanished and they go oh he’s just the interface lol Which is a shame because the concept of him is great but you never really see it bear fruit cause he gets cut.

Kate Lethbridge-Stewart's dad is Brigadier Sir Alistair Lethbridge-Stewart, more commonly known as just the "Brigadier", who was the head of UNIT during the Classic era of Doctor Who ranging from his introduction in 1968 to 1989. He worked with the Doctor so much that he's considered one of his longest running companions. His last appearance was in an episode of The Sarah Jane Adventures in 2008, a few years before actor Nicholas Courtney's death in 2011. Infact, the 11th Doctor tried to call the Brigadier during The Wedding of River Song (last season's finale) where he finds out the Brigadier had passed, which is when the Doctor decides it's time to go face his own "death."

I know a lot of people have been asking you if you're up on the 50th anniversary shows so you don't miss them, but if you're watching these on HBO Max you won't miss anything. I notice that HBO Max wraps all of the Christmas episodes and other specials as part of the season they take place in, so no worries there. The only thing missing, obviously, is the webisode. I'd give you the title of the webisode and where it goes to help avoid spoilers when looking it up, but I don't know how you feel about doing that in case you feel like that's a spoiler, even though the title's not really a spoiler but what's not a spoiler for me may be a spoiler for someone else so I'm wary about stuff like that. Another thing that came out for the 50th was a biographical TV film for the BBC called An Adventure in Space and Time. It's set in 1963 and follows the producers and actors of the original series and what they went through to make Doctor Who what it is today. It's a good movie and if you don't want to watch it for the channel, should definitely check it out in your spare time.
