i love this show, because even though we clearly have evil villains, between them and our heroes Ed and AL, there is so many shades of grey, so many people who at many stages you're not sure if you can consider them good or bad, because nothing is really that simple, i love it. and i love what Ed does here with getting her to focus on the good she does, its such a touching scene, just such a fucking good show haha, thank you for giving me a reason to rewatch
