Why do we find the Doctor sitting in a monastery in 1207? Maybe because it's a "quiet place". This prequel to this episode is a must see (only 2 1/2 minutes). LINK: https://youtu.be/2IROtC6cAT4?si=rfpVQZ-glduJNSA-

thats a good point however it is a bit different, i do have a few friends whose names are Clara and pronounce it like "Claira"! adding to the confusion

It's funny that you should ask...... 😉 Because this NEVER comes up.......... Now, if it were me, I would pronounce Clara's name as it is majoratively said, if physically possible to the speaker. As, like you say, it is a name. Consciously trying is courteous. In my experience from watching, majoritively, US reactors will lean towards an emphasis on an 'air' sound, due to the variation in vowel sound pronunciations we all have. If Claira was her name, then I would say this would be appropriate. However, as her name is Clara, the absence of an i, could be argued to make it slightly more appropriate to have a higher emphasis on the r. We instinctively say things differently. There's 'arguably' no right or wrong way. A Scot might say it differently to an English person, northern or southern. As the name Claira exsists, and you've demonstrated the awareness and ability to distinguish between the two sounding names. I'd go with her name, Clara. 🤭😜

Regarding Steven Moffett it's good that you like him because I'm unsure if you knew this but he actually became the showrunner from Season five (when Matt Smith started!) So S5 was a big deal because you had a new Doctor and showrunner! So if you've been liking the 11th Doctor era so far just know that 'The Moff' is behind it all! So yeah people certainly loved when he did write those one off or two parters during season 1-4 but he took over and became the showrunner from season five, all hail The Moff! lol

Just pay the license fee and you are spared from the sound. Great deal.

They actual wrote the book in the episode written by Amelia Williams nee Pond, also chapter 11 being the best is a reference to the 11th Doctor aka Matt Smith

And now my favorite companion of NuWho officially joins. And I can just hear Moffat giggling while writing this episode as he "kills" Clara not once, but twice more. Jenna Louise Coleman won the part of Clara because she could out talk Matt Smith. She also had a very small part as Bucky's date at the beginning of the first Captain America movie. The face in the credits is Matt Smith's face. In Classic Who, the opening credits would show the Doctor's face. The last episode (the Christmas special) had it too. And according to Google: Governesses are focused mostly on the development of a child through their education and personal development. A nanny is more focused on the general care and well being of a child, e.g. dressing, playing with them, feeding, changing, setting routines, etc. - From the London Governess website. Which, interestingly enough, you can hire a governess or a nanny today, or apply to be one yourself...
