2025-07-28 17:41:22 +0000 UTCPride called himself the first homunculus because he took pride in being the first creation of Father, who was the first homunculus created by humans. Van Hohenheim only adjusted Izumi's blood flow, he didn't restore her organs. That wouldn't require many Philosopher's Stones. But if he were to restore her organs, it would involve opening the Gate of Truth and would cost significantly more Philosopher's Stones. Technically, he could do it, but from his point of view, losing a part of their bodies is a testament to the sin they committed: performing human transmutation.
