Been a month but when I posted it I thought it was set for all paid members. In case I'm remembering correctly and that *has* been changed, I'm checking with the people upstairs to see what's up. Sorry for the inconvenience!

Not to be a snitch, but was this intended for $3 tier people to get their hands on? Because I can’t download issue #1 but I CAN download this…

I have similar questions, so I might as well piggy-back on this post 1) I just want to be clear: so the spells available are Repetitions (their own thing) and spells that you make up yourself by stacking patterns and supplying your own flavor (visuals, sound, etc.), correct? 2) This is an excellent question. 3) I had also assumed that you need to keep tabs on your own spell recipes. If you don't come to the table with a coherent list, that seems crazy for the DM to manage in real time. The thing I would add is that this system seems to strip spellcasting down to bare-bones crunch. You're literally juggling effects and limits like they are a toolbox, rather than creating spells that have history, nuance, and flexibility, more or less like spellcasting was in 4e. Is that the intent, or am I missing some important details?

This looks cool (though I've not had a chance to think seriously about balance), but I have a few questions: 1) How does a Protomancer's number of prepared (non-cantrip) spells increase as they gain levels? You get two at 1st level but I can't find how the number goes up. 2) Is there any limit on how many patterns a Protomancer can learn via Analyze Repetition, or is it the intent that a Protomancer will eventually learn all the patterns from a given repetition (and thus have no more need to keep it memorized *as* a repetition, since they can just construct it as a normal prepared spell)? 3) Any tips on bookkeeping? It feels like at higher levels things could get wild since a Protomancer could be making a whole bunch of different pattern combos every time they long-rest. (I assume players should be encouraged to write up their spells in downtime.)
