Destroyer Through The Multiverse Ch 10

Nick Fury sat behind his desk in his dimly lit office, his gaze fixed on the holographic screens displaying the aftermath of the Hulk and Abomination's cataclysmic battle in New York City. The room around him was quiet except for the occasional beep of incoming reports and the distant hum of SHIELD agents moving with purpose.

The live feed showed emergency responders navigating through debris, civilians being hurried to safety, and the immense crater where the two titans had clashed. Fury's expression was inscrutable, a blend of concern and strategic calculation as he absorbed the implications of such a public display of superhuman power.

"Damn it," Fury muttered under his breath, adjusting his eyepatch with a sigh of weariness. He tapped a button on his desk, connecting him to Agent Coulson.

"Coulson, I need a comprehensive assessment of the situation. Deploy teams to secure the area, coordinate with local authorities, and ensure containment of the threat," Fury commanded, his voice firm with urgency.

Coulson nodded briskly on the other end of the line. "Understood, sir. We're already on it. Cleanup crews are en route, and we're managing the media fallout as best we can."

"Keep me informed. I want detailed reports on injuries, civilian casualties, and structural damage," Fury continued, his singular eye narrowing with focus. "And find out where Decade has gone. Contact Agent Kadoya and get him on the ground."

Acknowledging the directives, Coulson confirmed his understanding before Fury ended the call. Alone once more, Fury leaned back in his chair, massaging his temple with a sense of grim determination. The appearance of another unpredictable element in New York's already volatile landscape was a complication SHIELD could ill afford, especially amid escalating global tensions and heightened scrutiny.

As he contemplated the broader implications of the incident, Fury's mind raced with strategies to mitigate fallout and maintain SHIELD's fragile balance of security and secrecy in a world increasingly beset by extraordinary threats.

Tony Stark stood in his sleek, high-tech penthouse apartment, the panoramic view of New York City's glittering skyline obscured by the holographic displays projecting images of chaos and destruction below. He had just returned from a successful business meeting, but his mind was consumed by the recent events — the clash between the Hulk and Abomination, and the unexpected appearance of another armored figure.

Pepper Potts entered the room, her expression a mix of concern and professionalism as she approached Tony with a tablet in hand. "Tony, have you seen the news?" she asked, holding up the device displaying footage of the battle and its aftermath.

Tony glanced at the screen, his brow furrowing slightly as he took in the scenes of devastation unfolding on the streets. "Yeah, I heard about it. Looks like the Hulk decided to throw a party," he quipped, though the tension in his voice betrayed his attempt at levity.

Pepper's gaze sharpened. "It's not just that," she replied, her voice serious. "Decade was involved too."

"I know. Any word on where he went?" Tony asked, concern lacing his words.

Pepper shook her head. "No, not yet. SHIELD is scrambling to contain the situation and identify him."

Tony sighed heavily, rubbing the back of his neck as he walked over to the window, staring out at the city lights below. "I just hope they handle this right. He did save my skin back there."

Pepper placed a reassuring hand on Tony's arm. "SHIELD knows what they're doing, Tony. They'll manage it. I'm sure they won't make things difficult for him."

Tony nodded, though his expression remained troubled. "They better not. Or they'll have to deal with me."

"Coulson's already on it," Pepper assured him. "I've asked Rhodey to dig deeper into this Kamen Rider. Hopefully, we'll have more information soon."

Tony appreciated Pepper's proactive approach, nodding in acknowledgment. "Good. Let's see what we can find out. Keep me posted on any updates."

As Pepper left to make the call to Rhodey, Tony turned back to the holographic displays, his mind racing with thoughts. He paced back and forth, the news updates buzzing around him, until he finally called out to Jarvis.

"Jarvis," Tony called out, his voice tinged with urgency.

"Yes, sir?" Jarvis responded promptly, his calm and composed voice cutting through the tension in the room.

"Pull up the footage of Decade from the battle," Tony instructed, gesturing towards one of the screens displaying the chaotic scenes below.

Jarvis complied, bringing up multiple angles of the battle scene where Decade had appeared. The footage showed Decade's sleek armor and agile movements as he fought alongside the Hulk against the Abomination.

Tony studied the footage intently, his mind racing through possibilities. "What do we know about this guy, Jarvis? Any clues on his identity, technology, anything?"

Jarvis paused briefly before responding, "I'm afraid there isn't much to go on, sir. Decade's armor is highly advanced, beyond any known technology. His combat skills are impressive, but his identity and origins remain a mystery."

Tony frowned, his frustration evident. "Can't we get anything more definitive? Facial recognition, power source analysis, anything?"

"I'm sorry, sir," Jarvis replied apologetically. "Decade's technology seems to emit interference that's disrupting our scans. It's almost as if he's intentionally shielding his identity and technological profile."

Tony sighed, running a hand through his hair in exasperation. "Of course he is. Just what we needed," he muttered to himself, his eyes fixed on the holographic displays.

"Keep monitoring the situation, Jarvis," Tony said finally, his voice firm. "I want to know the moment SHIELD or anyone else figures out who this guy really is."

"Understood, sir," Jarvis acknowledged. "I will continue gathering updates and monitoring developments."

Tony nodded decisively, his mind already strategizing next steps. As the holographic screens continued to display updates from SHIELD and various news sources, Tony Stark remained at the forefront, determined to unravel the mystery of Decade and ensure the safety and security of New York City.

Tatsuya managed to slip away from the chaotic battlefield, blending into the shadows as the emergency responders swarmed the area. Once he was certain he was out of sight, he found a secluded alley and canceled his transformation. The vibrant colors and sleek armor of Kamen Rider Decade dissolved, leaving behind an unassuming young man in street clothes.

As Tatsuya caught his breath, his phone buzzed in his pocket. He glanced at the screen and saw an incoming call from an unknown number. He answered, recognizing the voice on the other end immediately.

"This is Agent Coulson," the voice said, calm and composed despite the urgency of the situation. "We have a situation. Decade appeared in the middle of the Hulk and Abomination's battle. We need you to find him."

Tatsuya suppressed a smile, finding the irony of the situation highly amusing. "Decade, huh?" he replied, feigning surprise. "Alright, I'll see what I can do. I'm actually not far from the scene."

"Good," Coulson responded. "We need to contain this as quickly as possible. SHIELD is already coordinating with local authorities, but we need eyes on the ground."

"Understood," Tatsuya said, nodding even though Coulson couldn't see him. "I'll keep you updated."

As he ended the call, Tatsuya couldn't help but chuckle to himself. The situation was almost too perfect. He was Kamen Rider Decade, and now he had a legitimate reason to be in the thick of things without arousing suspicion. With a sense of satisfaction, he slipped his phone back into his pocket and made his way towards the scene, ready to play his part in the unfolding drama.
