DC X Rider Ch 165
Added 2025-05-15 14:58:48 +0000 UTCWill be pausing my writing on this novel. Can't muster up motivation. More excited for writing A Rider Kick in Marvel Rewrite, since it is now in the MHA world. I'm also starting to write the original novel: Creating a Kamen Rider System in Another World (Placeholder title). I won't be dropping this novel, just want to finish writing my original novel first. To compensate. I will be posting two chapters of A Rider Kick in Marvel Rewrite from Mon to Fri, starting next week.
I'm curious if anyone wants to see Creating a Kamen Rider System in Another World. I can post it here as a first draft of the book before I edit it. I could also use the feedback for the novel. Write a comment or like this post if you like the idea.

Haruka, clad in the sleek, crimson armor of Kamen Rider Kabuto, strode into the DEO's command center, Megan at his side. Her green skin and red hair were a stark contrast to the DEO's sterile, metallic surroundings. He spots Kara, her blue eyes wide with a mixture of curiosity and confusion, leaning against a console.
"Rider, what's going on? And… Miss Martian?" Kara asks, her voice a blend of surprise and polite inquiry.
Haruka inclines his head. "Kara. I called her. There's something you need to know."
Director Chase approaches, her gaze sweeping over the assembled trio. "Kamen Rider. Miss Martian. What's so urgent that it requires you to barge in here without authorization?"
Haruka's visor glints in the fluorescent light. "Director Chase. Apologies for the intrusion, but I believe we have intel indicating an imminent alien threat to Earth. Miss Martian can verify."
Chase raises an eyebrow, skepticism etched on her face. "And what makes you so certain, Rider? Last I checked, you were fighting rogue synthetics and gangsters, not cosmic invaders."
"I had a run-in with White Martians," Megan interjects, her voice soft but firm. "They're coming. They're planning a full-scale invasion."
Kara's expression turns grave. "White Martians? You sure, Rider? I haven't heard anything from my cousin."
Haruka nods, his stance resolute. "Miss Martian can explain. She knows more about these guys than I do."
Before Megan can elaborate, a DEO agent calls out, "Director Chase, we have multiple unidentified objects approaching Earth! High-energy signatures detected, possible alien spacecraft."
Chase's eyes narrow. "Put it on the main screen."
The large monitor flickers to life, displaying a panoramic view of space. Several massive, angular ships are hurtling towards Earth. Smaller vessels dart around the main ships, their forms vaguely humanoid, but with chalk-white skin.
"Those ships… White Martian designs," Megan murmurs, her voice laced with dread.
"Confirmed. Visual identification matches White Martian physiology," the agent says, his voice tight. "They're not responding to hails. ETA Earth atmosphere: fifteen minutes."
Chase's voice cuts through the tension. "All DEO units, prepare for immediate deployment. Initiate planetary defense protocols. I want every agent on high alert. Those ships are heading towards major population centers. Including National City."
The command center erupts into controlled chaos as agents scramble to their stations. Sirens blare, bathing the room in a red glow.
Chase turns to Haruka. "Rider, Supergirl, Miss Martian—National City is your primary area of responsibility. I want those ships intercepted before they reach the atmosphere. Do whatever it takes."
Kara nods, her face set. "We won't let them through, Director."
Haruka pulls the Kabuto Zecter from his belt, the metallic beetle gleaming. "Let's move out. National City needs us."
Megan nods, her eyes glowing with determination. "I'll be right behind you."
The three heroes surge towards the DEO's hangar, where sleek aircraft and various vehicles await. Haruka summons Auto Vajin. Kara spreads her cape. Miss Martian extends her hands, ready to take off.
As they hurtle towards the city, Haruka surveys the scene. The sky is darkening. Distant streaks of light indicate incoming alien ships.
"Alright, let's split up," Kara said, her voice crackling through the comms. "Rider, take the east side. Miss Martian, you head west. I'll focus on downtown. We need to minimize casualties."
"Understood," Haruka replies, adjusting his helmet. Auto Vajin surges forward, its engine screaming in defiance.
Megan's voice is soft but firm. "I'll do what I can. But remember, they are incredibly dangerous."
"We'll be ready," Kara responds, her voice confident. "Let's show them what Earth's heroes are made of."
Haruka grips the handlebars, a sense of grim determination settling over him. The battle for National City is about to begin.
[CLOCK UP]
Kabuto's red eyes illuminate the darkening sky as he speeds towards the oncoming alien onslaught.
The sky above National City pulses with an ominous green light, casting long, distorted shadows across the streets. Kamen Rider Kabuto, Supergirl, and Miss Martian descend, their eyes scanning the chaos below. White Martians are everywhere—tall, angular figures with chalk-white skin and malevolent red eyes, unleashing energy blasts and wreaking havoc on the city.
"They're targeting civilians," Kara said, her voice tight with fury. "We need to draw them away."
Haruka nods, gripping the handlebars of Auto Vajin, which transforms into Ride Mode, his voice steady. "Agreed. We can't let them hurt anyone else."
"Let's split up," Megan said, her green skin shimmering. "We each draw a different group. Spread them out."
Without another word, they spring into action. Kara streaks through the sky, a blur of red and blue, intercepting a volley of Martian energy blasts aimed at a crowd of panicked citizens. She slams into the ground, creating a shockwave that sends several White Martians stumbling.
"Hey, ugly! Up here!" she shouts, cupping her hands around her mouth. "Why don't you pick on someone who can actually fight back?"
The White Martians turn their attention to Supergirl, their red eyes burning with malice. They converge on her, unleashing a barrage of energy beams.
Haruka, meanwhile, accelerates through the streets on Auto Vajin, weaving through the chaos. He spots a group of White Martians attempting to corner a bus full of fleeing civilians. With a burst of speed, he slams into the Martians, knocking them off their feet.
[CLOCK UP]
Time slows to a crawl, and Haruka weaves in and out of the attacks, dealing a number of attacks and evading the rest, dealing several blows. As time returns to normal, the white martians lie on the floor. He gestures to follow, as he continues heading down the street.
Megan soars above the city, her telekinetic powers flinging debris at a group of White Martians. She creates illusions, disorienting them and disrupting their attacks.
"Over here, you pale freaks!" she calls out, her voice amplified by her telepathy. "Come and get some!"
The White Martians focus their attention on Miss Martian, and she leads them away from the civilians. The three heroes succeed in dividing the White Martian forces, drawing them away from the most vulnerable targets. The battle for National City is fully engaged.
The three heroes converge at the city's central plaza, where the remaining White Martian forces have gathered. Haruka, Kara, and Megan stand shoulder to shoulder, their faces grim, the numerous Martians encircling them.
"Looks like they're making their last stand," Kara says, cracking her knuckles.
"Then let's make it their worst mistake," Haruka replies, gripping the Kunaigun.
[CLOCK UP]
Before the Martians react, Haruka is already moving, a blur of red and silver as he slashes through their ranks with blinding speed. He strikes with the power of a bullet train, sending them hurtling into the surrounding buildings.
Megan unleashes her telekinetic power, lifting cars and debris into the air and hurling them at the Martians. The ground trembles as the White Martians struggle to maintain their footing. Kara swoops down from above, delivering a series of devastating punches that shatter Martian armor and send them crashing to the ground.
A coordinated barrage of Martian energy beams targets the heroes, forcing them to scatter. Haruka activates the Kabuto’s [Clock Up] once more. He ducks and weaves with superhuman speed, dodging energy blasts.
Miss Martian uses her phasing abilities, becoming intangible as she weaves in and out of the Martian ranks, sowing confusion and disrupting their formations. She unleashes a powerful psychic blast, staggering several White Martians and leaving them vulnerable.
Supergirl unleashes her heat vision, slicing through the Martian ranks. She delivers a series of powerful blows. Despite their combined efforts, the White Martians prove to be relentless. They press their attack, their numbers seemingly endless.
"They just keep coming!" Kara said, panting slightly.
"We can't give up," Megan replies, her voice firm. "We have to protect this city."
A fresh wave of White Martians descends upon the plaza, their red eyes glowing with predatory hunger. The heroes brace themselves, but before the Martians can unleash another attack, a sonic boom rips through the air.
Superboy crashes into the center of the plaza, his black t-shirt and jeans billowing in the wind, sending Martians flying like bowling pins. He lands with a ground-shaking thud, a defiant grin on his face.
"Looks like you guys could use a hand," he says, cracking his knuckles. "Consider me your backup."
Kara's face lights up with relief. "Superboy! What took you so long?"
"Traffic was a killer," Superboy jokes. "Now, let's show these pale faces what happens when they mess with National City."
With renewed vigor, the heroes launch a coordinated assault. Superboy unleashes a barrage of tactile-telekinesis enhanced punches. The new arrival gives the others hope for a possible victory, turning the tide of battle.
