2018-06-24 07:11:24 +0000 UTCAs a whole, Angel is darker in tone than Buffy but it does still have some great comedic standalone episodes during it's run. I haven't seen season 2 for a long time so I'd forgotten how funny this episode was. And as for Angel's curse, I've always thought that there's now a big loophole, if he knows that he'll lose his soul should he attain perfect happiness, shouldn't that knowledge alone keep him from ever experiencing *perfect* happiness again no matter the circumstances? I get why he wouldn't want to risk testing it but it doesn't seem to even cross any of the characters minds.
