I watch the show when it airs on TV than I watch your reaction to the episodes. I don't think Tyrone's girlfriend was talking about his powers but more about his character. Like when he goes quiet he is thinking and observing not pulling away and with the game she knew he missed the shot on purpose. The game was fixed that's what he saw in the referees fears and each kid that touched him he saw the fears of what they had to deal with either when the went home after the game winners or losers. O'Reilly was actually doing the drugs, her and Conners were talking about the Vice corps that go under cover and have to do drugs to stay alive and not be found out. It was so she could set a trap for him and make him think she is like him. Tandy's hope hopping at the end with the guy that might be the CEO of Roxxon Corp I'm not sure if he is but he has a high position of power was showing that he Hope's he can continue to collect money from the failed project Tandy's father was working on as well as taking money from the dead employees and their families so long as the families aren't suing like Tandy's mom keeps trying to do. Hope this helps with thing that you may have been confused about.
