2020-03-13 17:29:11 +0000 UTCAnother good reaction. As mentioned before love this part of season 2 as almost every episode ends with a moment that made you want to watch the next episode immediately. The whole Sara recast thing is a bit of a mystery. The producers have never outright said the reason for the recast. More than likely the pilot they cast an actress who looked like Katie/Laurel. Of course the actress they cast was just for the pilot and she already has a pretty steady job on an American soap as one of the main stars. The producers created a storyline to bring back Sara but they needed an actress who could handle the physicality of the role which Caity definitely can. Of course I don't know if they could have imagined the many controversies this decision has created in the fandom.

2018-07-12 14:38:02 +0000 UTCI've seen a few theroies about why they recast Sara. None confirmed. The major one that makes perfect sense is they never intended to bring Sara back so only hired the actress for the one season. Then when they decided to bring the character back, she wasn't available. Sounds pretty plausable at least. I prefer Caity Lotz in the role anyway. And she is a real martial artist so she actually does all of her own fighting, and a few (but not most) of her own stunts. EDIT: So if you see her flying back trough the air... stunt double. If you see her whipping around her bow staff and doing hand to hand... it's Caity.

2018-07-11 18:02:57 +0000 UTCThat is a different actress for Sara then in season 1. In my opinion she is an improvement, but I guess the original Sara didn't have much time to make an impression. EDIT: Typed that before watching. Nice to see you noticed and looked it up. lol
