I'm usually scared to admit this because I don't wanna be judged haha but I've always really liked Ward. Even more after the Hydra reveal but I don't know why! Especially in this episode for some reason. RIP Tripp tho :((((((

I remember watching this episode when it aired. It was the mid-season finale in December, and didn't pick back up for 3 months until March!

(i'm only writing this because I know you have finished the season so there isn't any spoilers.) but skye only emerged like that because of her powers.. and the building coming down and all the destruction and sadly trips stone body getting shattered was also Skye (unintentionally). Raina obviously didn't emerge out of the husk the same way and she would of had to quickly get out of the way because of the building coming down on her.. skye didn't have to move because the building wasn't hurting her because it was her that was causing it.. and sadly trip was just stone because his wasn't inhuman and then Skye unintentionally shattered trips stone body. :( :(

with Skye shooting ward it actually wasn't out of the blue because it had been the teams mission to take him out. just no one had the chance to do it until then. Also comic-book fans were freaking out when he called her daisy and they realised who she was... and trip didn't survived because he wasn't like Skye and Raina. great reaction :)

ASR, I have a question for you. As you are a fan of superheros, and this general genre, did you/have you recognized Daisy? She is a comic book character (I think one of only 4-5 AoS characters who exist in the comics, and I think only Daisy, Fury, and Bobbi are the only ones who existed in the comics before being created by TV shows/Movies like Coulson/May). If not, I wouldn't recommend looking her up online, as that would likely be spoilers for future episodes....maybe. I don't know if you would consider that spoilers. I mean, like when you see Barry Allen for the first time, you know he's going to become the Flash, is that a spoiler? Whatever you think, it would be that kind of thing for Daisy, I'm not saying they follow the comics in the show (or that they don't follow the comics), just that it is kind of cool that she showed up...it was a huge deal when she was named in this episode, as she isn't called Skye in the comics, so fans flipped out when they realized who she was.

Too funny - boring guy finally dies - and its boring. You kept worrying about Mack's safety and I'm thinking you should worry about Tripp instead. "What's you real name?" - Ward asked that in Ep 1, took a minute to get an answer. So many questions partly answered. Next week some get fully answered.

ASR, as you've seen the whole season now, this isn't a spoiler. But I don't think all of this was ever confirmed in the show (it was confirmed in a comic-con panel). So, the diviner has two parts, the metal and the crystal. The crystal you see in this episode is pure (as opposed to the crystals later on in the season, which are tainted). The crystal doesn't affect humans at all, but causes the change to occur in humans who are "worthy." The metal on the other hand just glows when the "worthy" touch it, but the metal is deadly to humans. Which is why Skye/Daisy and Rhena changed. Trip died because he tried to stop what was going on by kicking the diviner, and he got hit by a piece of the metal. If Trip had just stood there and done nothing, he would've lived (although, as Trip died because the actor wanted to leave the show due to being cast for something else, Trip not dying wasn't a possibility for this episode.)
