Whedon loves consequences; so Fury dies and there is a scramble for power or control to rebuild Shield. Re Ward and Agent 13, I think their individual neurosis love each other.

2018-08-07 09:55:37 +0000 UTCI never really understood the purpose of the whole "real shield" plot line. We don't really get to know them well enough to side with them over Coulson. So...they are just a random enemy group who wants to kill/capture our team? Could have been done MUCH better imo
