There's 2 groups of people. Coulson is the group that know that powered people will just keep appearing and having them on your side is better than on the enemy's side. The second group are people like the old dude who think they need to contain all the powered people and let normal people continue their normal lives.

2018-08-27 08:21:35 +0000 UTCThis show you really have to pay attention to as everything is very thought out. Especially in later seasons they'll do call backs to things that happened before. There are very few plot holes in this show. The writing is that consistently good.

2018-08-26 19:05:10 +0000 UTCFirst episode of this season May was in fact complaining he had dropped off and not stayed in contact for a week. Didn't sound like it was the first time either. Coulson shared most of what was going on with him, that just doesn't include operations going on around the world. Sure they might be creating drama but it's drama that makes sense based on how the characters are.
