2018-09-20 17:39:13 +0000 UTCI really like this episode. I'm not a fan of how they portray Heaven though. I agree with Dean - it would be pretty boring and fake to basically just being alone, living in your happiest memories and with just the memories of people and not the actual people. Zach really could have been manipulating things, to push at the issues between Sam and Dean more in trying to nudge Dean to making the decision they want him to make. Bittersweet memories though. My favorite scene in this episode is the one with the fireworks. Dean looks so sweet and happy there.

2018-09-19 21:41:05 +0000 UTCThis was a good one, but also a spirit breaker (Season 5 is good at that). I personally really liked Joshua, partly because he voiced Achilles Davenport in the Assassin's Creed games. Can't wait to see you react to what happens next!

2018-09-19 15:42:30 +0000 UTCI was waiting for you to get to this episode; it's one of my favorites. Beautiful cinematography and an interesting story. The questions you had were ones I had as well. My head canon has become that the angels were definitely manipulating the memories to drive a wedge between the boys - and judging from Dean's final action, it seems like they've succeeded (at least partially). The only thing I didn't enjoy about S5 was seeing Dean become so disillusioned with his father. As Jeffrey Dean Morgan has stated: "they muddied him". It broke my heart to watch him lose faith in everything he'd believed in so strongly.
