I don’t remember for sure, but my guess is that Holt’s baby son that Angel and Darla killed was named Steven (probably spelled Stephen back then)

I think he was stunned because he instantly smelled Conner’s scent and was trying to process it in his mind. To me he ‘recognized’ Conner before Conner said “hi dad”

OMG just in the previously, and maybe it's because it's all CGI and he had nothing to react to, but Angel looks COMPLETELY unfazed by stuff falling out of the hell dimension until one of them says "hi dad"

This season is bonkers. It goes from prenatal Connor, to baby Connor, to kidnapped Connor, to Connor lost in the Quartoth, to teen Connor.

Holtz probably made sure Connor did not consider himself "kidnapped." After all, in that hell dimension Holtz was the provider, the teacher, the one to show Connor how to survive. Holtz pretty much indoctrinated Conner. That he saved Connor from getting dissected by Wolfram & Hart, getting somehow killed by Sahjhan, or killed by Angel if he ever turns and the "beast" comes out again.

God i feel sorry for angel, he basically did everything to get connor back and now the he is back he has been basically brainwashed into hating angel despite him knowing the fact that angel is his father. Well holtz got his revenge and i hate him for it.

Conner does not remember Angel, so to him, Holtz is his "real" father, even if he is not his biological father. It would have been different if Connor had been 5 or 6 when he was taken.

I never actually noticed it until you mention it, but I think after "Sleep Tight," Wes wears his glasses A LOT less. Probably a director's choice. The glasses make his face look softer and more friendly, but he just betrayed his friends and got his throat cut, and now is adjusting to being on his own.

It's not uncommon for people who've been abducted to develop sympathetic feelings for their abductor, I believe the term is Stockholm syndrome. Connor was also just a baby then as well so any short amount of time he had with Angel he couldn't possibly remember.
