I heard or read once that the only reason that someone could stomach the show was the title, "Legend of the Seeker", stressing legend, as in many, many generations after the events of the books, and the crazy, wild crap people make up about a hero, and all of the stuff forgotten, left out entirely, or just plain wrong...... Kind of the only way to get to the show from the books, honestly......

2019-01-21 07:35:08 +0000 UTCI like your reactions. This show is pretty copy and paste storyline, only very roughly based on the book series The Sword of Truth. The books are wonderful, and this show is, well, not great by comparison. The show just has to cram so much in, in such a fast manner, that it jumbles and loses a lot of meaning and depth. The magic in the show is pretty standard for the genre, but the books always cast the cost of the magic against what it can do to help, there is always a balance to what magic does. Just so much that got dropped in favor of making a show that appeals to, I guess, a broader audience, but lost so much to do it. Any ways, I do enjoy watching your reactions, Keep it up.
