@ASR Here's a fun fact, since you've met Chuck on Supernatural. The actor who plays the Prophet Chuck was Adam's vamp lackey in this episode. It was one of Rob Benedict's earlier roles. Also, Ash from the Roadhouse in season 2 of SPN was Dave, the hapless computer geek in "I Robot, You Jane"... the guy who was murdered by Moloch and then it was staged to look like a suicide. Yep, Chuck and Ash were both on Buffy.

Yeah, this is the last weird episode of the series. There are NO more weird episodes after this one. Seasons 5 - 7 is basically just "School Hard" over and over again for 66 episodes.

Yeah, this was my second least favourite episode of season 4, I never understood the love it got at the time and I never will. This and Where The Wild Things Are (the worst. Just...the absolute worst.) are two abysmal filler episodes in a row that really bring the quality of the back half of the season down after coming off the high of the Faith arc. However your hilariously befuddled reaction to it made it worth watching again.

I second that Jonathan should replace Riley! I liked in the final battle that the music changed based on the power of the spell, from BTVS style fight music to the 007-esque theme they made for him. Also your reaction to Spike caressing Buffy was hilarious!

When Spike touched Buffy though... FIRE 🔥. i really like Jonathon i think we all sometimes feel like we just want friends and not to be all alone. This episode was fun but watching your face trying to figure out what was going on the first 20 mins or so was great.
