Honestly this might be my single favorite episode of the show, or at least the whole Faith 4-parter. Faith's verbal backlash at Buffy hit me all too deep. Buffy never has to worry about things being out of her control, she has a support system, a safety net, that Faith never did. If she had a parent like Joyce, if her first watcher wasn't murdered, if she had spent her teenage years making friends instead of on the run from Kissingtoast, maybe things might have been different. And hell, Buffy DID kill someone, or at least attacked someone with the intent to kill. She thought she killed Ted, and was only bailed out by the power of plot contrivance. No matter how bad things get, Buffy doesn't know what it's like to feel helpless. And that's why this episode exists, to tell a story that simply couldn't be told on Buffy. Buffy's show doesn't have room for grey morality like this, her show is about saving lives, while Angel is about saving souls.

A very great story between both shows. It's also sad because Buffy has no idea about the perfect day that was erased and I think you can see that in Angel's bitterness this episode. Can't wait for you to see what happens next!

Sanctuary has 9 important guest stars: the 3 attorneys, Kate, Faith, Buffy, and the 3 operatives from the Watcher's Council. The last FIVE all appeared in the recent Buffy two-parter with Faith in it.

Wow, all 4 of this week's Buffyverse episodes are extremely messy and complicated, involving many characters and many perspectives.

I get you. I can't say I take sides in this situation. It's painful for everyone, everyone has pretty good intentions, and everybody makes mistakes. I think it says a lot about Buffy that when they were faced with machine gun fire, Buffy immediately switched gears to protecting Faith.

Aw! I feel I am the only person who takes Buffy's side in this episode. I mean, I am happy for Faith and pat on the back, Angel, for helping her but poor Buffy.

This four episode arc is amazeballs. I also love Faith.

Back when Angel first aired, I had been liking Wesley more and more with each episode. But the scene where he comes in to save Faith from the Council, after she had spent hours torturing him, is the moment like turned into love for me.

I won’t say anything now other then these 2 episodes were both amazing. I’ll have a lot to say about this episode in the Buffy season 4 recap. Yes, the Buffy recap, not the Angel one. It’ll make sense at the time.
