agreed, this was the better option because if he wasn't in the garden he would be killed and it would create a war with wolves and vampires.

im pretty sure it was said hybrids are stronger than young vampires, damon and stefan are far from young, the hybrids they killed weren't even a year old. match the hybrids up against someone like caroline she would lose (obviously wouldn't happen though since the main charactes have to win)

Also, Hybrids are useless. Damon and Stefan murdered so many hybrids without ever breaking a sweat. I never know why they talk about them like they're supposed to be so great. The only perk I can see if turning into a wolf.

Just because you're a kid doesn't mean you get free license to murder people. Marcel has always punished those who've taken life with the garden. It beats murdering him in return which is what a lot of the dissenters wanted. Between those two options, the garden gives him a second chance when he comes back out. Had he not died.

I agree, Danielle was brilliant casting. I love the way she brings the character of Hope to life, and she really does look like she could be Klaus & Hayley's daughter.

I know youve finished S5 so i think im ok saying this but people can say what they want about the overall writing decisions of this season but Hope, in my opinion, was done brilliantly. She not only looks like Joseph and Phoebe but the character has an aspect of every original in her and its great to watch Danielle portray her.

I do like the fact that Danielle Rose Russell (the new Hope) looks like she could be related to Klaus and that they have that father/daughter chemistry
