2020-06-20 04:47:01 +0000 UTCWe also have to remember that they didn't have a normal offseason between filming season 6 and season 7. The studio made the decision to film both seasons back to back. There is a very good chance that he had planned to film his other stuff in between seasons.

2020-06-19 22:31:06 +0000 UTCI thought it was a brilliant episode. The idea that we see it in black and white because of Coulson glitching and also that is why we got the narration. Also, the way they changed time without changing time was clever. For me, after the last episode a really awesome ride. I get the black and white dislike. Not my favorite either, but I like the way they handled it.

2020-06-19 22:12:22 +0000 UTCYou need to watch more black and white movies! It's a wonderful Life, Casablanca, The Big Sleep (film noir similar to this style). You get more play with shadows and lighting in Black and white than 4k color ever will.

2020-06-19 17:08:10 +0000 UTCAs far as I’m aware location was also something that needed to be taken into consideration - Iain was in Europe a lot during filming for season 7 (I’m assuming for another project) and since it was a surprise renewal I assume they didn’t want to make him go back and forth - I think after he shows up he should be sticking around and from a viewer perspective we know the character’s safe, it’s just a matter of waiting for the story to bring him back into it (which I don’t mind since I personally am really enjoying the story)

But I'm guessing he at least tried his all to get the most out of getting to film AoS while doing his other projects too. If he didn't do this then yeah... I'm disappointed too

2020-06-19 15:51:45 +0000 UTCDid you completely forget that the show was almost canceled twice since season 4 and was renewed last minute for the last three seasons. That is not stable at all. The actor has every right to look for another job or plan for other things when he doesn’t know if his main show will be there in the next year and it would be stupid not to. He is the best actor on the show and do you think he isn’t getting offers. To reject them would be stupid and to bail on them is bad for your career when your show is on its last season and you will need to find work after. Season 5 was supposed to be the end remember. These are people. This is their careers It sucks and I miss him but what you said seems so infantile.
