2020-07-09 12:04:22 +0000 UTCSomeone may have already told you this but yes, that was the queen that died in the first episode. Geralt, Yennefer, and Ciri's stories dont' take place at the same time. Yennefer's story takes place many decades in the past, Geralt is around 20 years in the past and Ciri is in the present day.

Pavetta first saw him with his human face and fell in love and they conceived Ciri and then saw his face turn back into a hedgehog and still loved him anyway. Duny didn’t know she was pregnant until immediately after Geralt invoked the law of surprise, which bound Geralt’s destiny to the baby (Ciri).
