2020-07-26 20:19:27 +0000 UTCI agree I think I hadn't really thought of it that way I think sometimes we take for granted sometimes in these shows because they are comic shows that oh well he's just a bad guy or kinda smart how can he do this stuff. But what it is is like you say he is a psychopath and I think that can't be downplayed. It's like watching Criminals Minds and even though the agents are really smart sometimes the killers can predict whats going to happen and evade them or even capture and kill them sometimes which can happen in real life. Sometimes the killers slip up because of arrogance or being back into a corner but the lead up and manhunt can go on because of how smart they are and how they read people like you said. Chase has spent all this time training and studying Oliver and training under Talia and watching Oliver as mayor and GA.

2020-07-25 02:24:23 +0000 UTCHe isn't 10 steps ahead. He's at most 2. It's just him over hyping himself and the fans taking him at his word. He's a great villain. But his plan would never have amounted to anything in real life where the main characters would have acted with something resembling common sense.

2020-07-24 19:09:41 +0000 UTCI mean it is a fair question. Adrian has spent the past 5 years studying Oliver and if we are being honest, Oliver is pretty predictable. That and Adrian seems to be a master at reading people’s reactions and emotions. Psychopaths usually are good at this because they realize they are different and try to fit in so they study the reactions and emotions of other people. It also helped that he is a prosecutor and from how many convictions he got, he is a very good one. Readings people is both his night and day job. For me this is why he is such a compelling character is he isn’t from the future or a telepath, he is just a psycho with a ton of patience
