He truly was a magnificent writer and would’ve taken this show to so many different heights. He’s never gotten a big break. Cabin in the Woods, Joss gets all the credit. He leaves Daredevil to go direct a Sinister Six movie that never got made. And his latest film Bad Times at the El Royale flopped. He made Daredevil what it is so showrunner or not what Shan sees in Season 1 is all him especially these first few episodes.

He was supposed to be showrunning, but was replaced during production by Steven S. DeKnight. Steven also started on Buffy with Joss and was a writer and director for a couple of episodes of Angel. And worked with Joss on Dollhouse.........also he directed the horrible Pacific Rim 2((((

From the thug bringing the boy food, throughout the hallway fight, and up until Matt rescues the boy, the camera doesn't cut away once. The choreography and stunt work in Daredevil is insane. Without spoiling anything, the show one ups itself with longer, more elaborate one shot fight scenes every season.

In the early 60's comics, in order to protect his secret identity from Foggy and Karen, Matt pretended he had a twin brother named Mike who was Daredevil. Karen Page was Foggy and Matt's secretary in the comics then.

He wrote 5 episodes of Buffy, including the critically acclaimed, "Conversations with Dead People" episode, and also 5 episodes of Angel, one of which was the psychotic vampire slayer episode in the final season
