This is a good episode. Full of goodies. I suspect they assumed the cage wouldn't have opened. Rowena is dead. She actually is dead. She was sucked into Hell, so now she's a resident of Hell. But Death really means nothing in this show by now. Not even the Empty is the end. SPN has essentially become just like other CW shows in some ways. Adam!Michael is finally out of the cage. I liked how they did that. That Adam and Michael are cooperating. The actor did a good job. This episode was full of stuff. Now Lilith comes back. Good acting in this episode. I agree with you about wanting more of the Adam!Michael stuff and wanting more.

I think you are over thinking the Rowena thing. She is dead. I agree with what Sean said above. Besides, if Billie said her final death was by Sam's hand, then the prophecy has been full filled and all of your "what if" scenarios don't apply.

Well, unless chuck wipes all of existence, Rowena can’t be killed again. She’s not a demon, she’s a soul, souls become demons after centuries of torture in hell, though with the time difference a century down there is less than a year topside. Season 6 was all about how souls can be bent and hurt and tortured, but never destroyed, so Rowena can’t be killed unless she becomes a demon, if she stays a soul, she can be beat down, but not killed

rowena is not a demon,she is more ghost/spirit.she was probably able to get the throne because she is the most powerful witch.she is quite dead.
