Supergirl S03E08 - Crisis On Earth-X Part 1 FULL REACTION

Nazis affected so many nations not just Germany. The allies bring it u often because it was our proudest accomplishment. Everyone was affected by it, everyone has a father/grandfather,reatgandfather who was involved in it, Both in the allied countries and the axis. we still live in a post WW2 world, from EU to Nuclear weapons to israel. don't mistake allied depictions of nazis with how we feel about modern germany. we know germany is one of the least fascistic countries on earth. We know the nazis didnt win any elections in germany, they took power with a coup, then held it by terrorising Germany before any other country. maybe eon earth x, nazism started in germany then defeated usa then nazi usa seized control from germany, maybe they were just allies, like soviet union and cuba. you know what americans are like at pronouncing words from another language, they don't use accents and often pronounce words wrong out of ignorance. eg not knowing that "w" in german in pronounced like a "v" so many americans pronounce Ludwig: Lud-wig instead of Lud-vig. I'm from the UK and even here if you draw any connections with nazism and modern day germany, people will correct you. Even in the UK if you suggest that Nazism happened in Germany because the Germans are inferior to us, or just born evil, you'll invariably be told that fascism is like a virus, any country can contract it. We're not immune infact the only country that may be immune is Germany since they've had it before. Also Nazis still strike fear in the hearts of many people and they're almost universally despised so they make for great villains in sci fi. Unlike the Sith, Thanos or Darkseid you don't need to give people reasons to fear them, they fear them already.

The funniest part was Alex trying to sneak out of bed after spending the night with Sara, and then being confronted outside the church later. The look on Kara's face and Alex's flustered banter was hilarious. Although, Mick borrowing one of Stein's "dresses" was also funny.

I love this episode, and the entire wedding scene was amazing. It kind of reminds me of the Incredibles wedding scene with all of the heroes, despite the fighting. I do also love seeing the actors playing evil versions of themselves, it must be really fun.

Yeah I'm there with you I'm tired of the Nazi thing maybe part of this is because I'm german but yeah I'm not a fan of this and in addition they pronounce the german words so wrong like wrong wrong and not with and accent ... I don't know that bugs me ...

suveemi

the wedding reception (Sans the olicity stuffy) was actually pretty fun.

The intro scared the crap out of me. I was waiting for it to load and hear โ€œHey! Whatโ€™s up you guys?โ€ And it was just Shan whispering and I thought i broke something lmao

Kara's Thunderclap came before Anissa's on Black Lightning, because this aired before Anissa's Thunderclap was introduced. It is alternatively known as a Shockwave Clap. The priest marrying Barry & Iris was played by William Katt. He starred in a show called The Greatest American Hero, a superhero show from the 1980s. He was also a runner-up for Luke Skywalker when they were casting Star Wars.

I always imagine Sara thinks "Target Acquired" whenever she meets a new character she can seduce.
