This was the episode that got me hooked to this series. The earlier episodes were interesting but the plot seemed unfocused and the characters were a little too passive/meandering for me. The show seemed to find its voice here in multiple storylines and the tone finally seemed even.

2019-02-19 06:18:34 +0000 UTCI'm from the UK and I agree with you about UK shows. Our shows are just very... 'down to earth' perhaps? And real in a raw way. American shows definitely glamorise everything. Also in most American TV they're rich or money doesn't come in to it, they just seem to be well off. Not all obviously. In a lot of British TV they're poor or common. Again not all

2019-02-19 04:32:52 +0000 UTCASR: "UK people aren't glamorous" *Sob* It hurts cause it's true. *Sob* You're right about Herrick. He's not a moustache twirling, intimidating embodiment of evil. He's mundane, conceited, manipulative. Playing politics and climbing the ladder, deceiving some and bullying others into implementing his agenda. He's a politician...a cult leader...a bad boss. We've all met a Herrick at some point. That's why he's scary. Glad you're enjoying it, ASR. Season Finale next month!
