2019-03-02 00:10:20 +0000 UTCFirefly has the fan following that it does because -- despite its short run -- they were able to accomplish enough to make it satisfying to watch... Jayne's betrayal, the conflict among Mal/Zoe/Wash coming to a head, the return of Niska and Saffron, etc. It functions pretty well as a mini-series. When it's over, you'll just have to do what the rest of us do. Watch Serenity... and then watch Firefly again. The Serenity movie allowed Joss to tell more of the story that he originally wanted to tell. It makes a pretty good finale for Firefly.

2019-03-01 19:17:48 +0000 UTCSo close to being done with TV's greatest space western. :) It is great for a weekend binge watch. I gave and received multiple DVD boxed sets one Christmas. And they got passed around... I think lots of people who saw some of the episodes on TV did the same thing.
