2019-03-11 22:31:57 +0000 UTCYou're right, very green screen orientated show. Originally trialled on the internet as webisodes, it gained such a following it was picked up and funded as a tv show. Christopher Heyerdahl (teleport guy) also plays the Neanderthal butler, and yes he seems to be in everything (especially Canadian).

But another trope I hate that's in this show too is the one where the cops are wrong and look stupid, but only because we know that supernatural forces were involved ... which is information that in the normal world the cops couldn't possibly have.
